You are completely correct but potentially interesting if he has a bit of sustained success. We may then have to ask the question how much of his crap performances were down to Russ ball.

Juric keeps playing him. Maybe we wont loan him out after all unless a requirement to buy is included in the deal.

I know we had this kinda debate with Adam Armstrong in the prem and I’ll give you that one ;). But sulemana  didn’t really have much of a run under Martin .. was injured for a fair chunk of last season and didn’t force his way back in .. this year he got the odd 5 mins here and there before juric came in ..

still not sure how good he is tbh but he’s definitely not as bad as a lot of people make out.. I think if he was a academy player of the same age he would be treated a lot different

True, but that chip for the goal was either a fluke or very very well weighted. I'm in a good mood, so I'm going for well weighted and hoping he can do some more like this ... (and yes I know, a good keeper wouldn't have been in that position)

He's had less of a chance than Adam Armstrong, I will 100% give you that - but at least Adam Armstrong delivers consistently at the level below.

If Sulemana scores two at Old Trafford or two at The City Ground (or two in total in those two games) then let's talk 👍

To be fair he put in a real shift today, possibly for the first time in a Saints shirt. More than likely because he knows teams are interested in him. Helps us though.

That’s the thing that rankles most. Puts in a shift now the windows open, where’s that been for 2 years.

I'm delighted for the lad, what a performance from him today. He would be fully justified in waving two fingers at all his vitriolic detractors on here who never see any good in any of our players.

Let's see if I can predict their demeaning responses………… Nah! Can't be bothered.

I thought he was one of our better players before he got injured last season, and obvs after that he didn't get a look in.  Hopefully today's performance and Juric being manager will give him a shot in the arm and he'll build from here.  He's got the natural attributes and can beat his man, just needssome composure with his final decision making

Our manager just said Sulemana was out of shape when he arrived. 
 

Seems the detractors about both Sulemana and Martin were correct, actually. Poor management & poor from him. 
 

A good performance against swansea’s reserves doesn’t change anything. He has to show it where it matters.

Players seem to become worse in many fans eyes when they are not getting consistent starts.. look at Abk looked a star in the making under hssenhuttl yet now gets talked about like he was a useless buy .. bad attitudes could also be due to not being in the managers plans I prefer to judge on what I see on the pitch

Really? Hard to believe given Martin's SAS-like fitness regime.... ;)

(But inadequate fitness levels have definitely not contributed to our poor results this season.... No-sir-ee)

I really hope under Jurić that we will see Sulemana at his best. He really put a shift in today and a cool lobbed finish to cap it off and an assist for Tyler 😊
