Saint In Cornwall Posted 3 February, 2023 Posted 3 February, 2023 Game to be played on Weds 1st March. Kick off 7:15.
richie Posted 3 February, 2023 Posted 3 February, 2023 Jeez. 7.15 ko! Difficult enough to get to night games as it is let alone an earlier start. Reminds me of the JPT! 1

We've already got Leicester home a few days later where kids can get for £1 so shouldn't be more than that
JRM Posted 3 February, 2023 Posted 3 February, 2023 Itv4 as well, will be some disappointed pensioners tuning in for midsomer murders repeats and having to sit through Saints v Grimsby instead 2

Whitey Grandad Posted 3 February, 2023 Posted 3 February, 2023 Ridiculous kickoff time. Getting there will be through the evening rush hour. Won't be much of a crowd. 1
JRM Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Could do with Grimsby winning this to avoid adding to the circus of Jones against his old club 3
Saint In Cornwall Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 I thought Luton were one of the bestest sides in Europe - how can they be losing to Lg 2 opposition......

Baird of the land Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Tv company betting on jones vs Luton and losing out.
SotonianWill Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 all I can say is that fuck it’s a home game if we’re playing grimsby

Saint In Cornwall Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Grimsby win! Hopefully that means home fans in the Northam like me won't get moved......
Stu Man Do Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Looks like we will have to put out the 2nd best team in Europe now then 😂
Give it to Ron Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Sack Edwards so Jones can return for his hatrick and spiritual home? 1

Whitey Grandad Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Tella scores twice to put Burnley through. 1
Whitey Grandad Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Billy Sharp scores for Sheffield United.
S-Clarke Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 Nice to play a team you don't usually play, happy for this. Happy it's not a 'Jones' derby either, as it would be cringe for the entire build up. This is probably the best game for all concerned (A much lower league team as well)
Roo1976 Posted 7 February, 2023 Posted 7 February, 2023 should be on tv aswell...................if the league games are going well, good crowd also?.

Fan The Flames Posted 8 February, 2023 Posted 8 February, 2023 Pleased it's not Luton, the less focus on Jones the better. I am sick of hearing him talk about Luton. A nice simple tie for the new manager. 1
Kenilworthy Posted 8 February, 2023 Posted 8 February, 2023 I was there the last time we played Grimsby. A second replay at Filbert Street on a night of snow and freezing fog.

IFHP Posted 8 February, 2023 Posted 8 February, 2023 Tickets go om sale tomorrow for this adult tickets are £15 . Saint Matty 76 Posted 8 February, 2023 Posted 8 February, 2023 £15 is absolutely bizarre. Little bit under the radar that we'd be one win off Wembley (again) if we go through this round.

EssEffCee Posted 8 February, 2023 Posted 8 February, 2023 (edited) Does anybody know why we started giving the whole northam away in recent years? The 15% rule has been there for years but I remember loads of cup games where we still had some fans in the northam. Is it to make segregation easier? Bit shit really and hands an advantage to the opposition. Edited 8 February, 2023 by EssEffCee 1

Bit shit really and hands an advantage to the opposition. Expand I questioned this last season as I too was fucked off that we started handing over the whole of the Northam when we never used to. The reply I got from the club was that it’s now done under police advice to get some kind of licence. I replied asking why we can’t just carry on using the segregation in the concourse and add extra netting to reduce their allocation as per the rules but never got an answer. Load of bollocks if you ask me, isn’t that much different to a normal match day. 1
