Being a PLC aren't we legally bound to announce a change of manager (sorry, head coach) to the LSE the minute/second it happens? For most PLC clubs, yes it is, but as we get through so many the LSE asked us just to send a list at the end of the season

Said that everyone is blaming everyone else, should just support the team. Says he thinks we will survive the drop quite easily as the gap between the relegation zone and being out of it is just 1 point. Says we beat teams who are now 2nd 3rd and 4th (which we actually havent as we drew with Sheff Utd and beat Birmingham in the cup). And that was it, Chris Perry just said the players will try hard to get out of this situation

If the poor bugger really did pay £60k himself to get out of his old contract and he really was as lowly paid here as some suggest, he surely wouldn't have been able to afford to just resign without some sort of pay-off .. which would have required a 'resignation' as part of the deal. Know what you mean Duncan, but in the business world, it looks better to say you " resigned " -on a point of principle, or disagreed with the managements policy - rather than that they sacked you for poor performance. JP will be back in Holland, licking his wounds but with his character unstained, and getting muted praise for being brave enough to accept such a tough assignment. (Like my PR release ?)
