Sarisbury Saint Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Good luck and welcome Hope he’s a success. 5
CB Fry Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Definitely one for the future. Next season, when we are in the Championship. 2 9 1
Saint NL Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Can't complain at this, good age, knows the manager, decent enough stats and inexpensive. Not exactly a galactico signing, but sensible as a squad member. 4
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Well we got to wish him well but I fear he will be playing at Kenilworth Rd next season and probably be on the losing side. 3 1
SNSUN Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Welcome James. Played in the same team as one of our existing players... ...Adam Armstrong at Barnsley.
davefizzy14 Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Welcome onboard James, a very smart signing
northam soul Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 I wonder how long our extensive network had been scouting him. Rasmus must of worked extra hard on this one. Anyway, welcome aboard lad and hope you do well.
LiberalCommunist Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Bombed out of Villa because he can't defend. He should fit in quite well. (clean slate, good luck lad, hope you are a success)

Badger Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 (edited) I had been hoping for a £30m centre forward, but we sign a RB (a 'Bree transfer' at that). Good luck to him, hope it works out for all our sakes. Edited 26 January, 2023 by Badger 1 1

santolijador Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 I, for one, am a big fan of him repeatedly calling us a massive club 2 1
Killers Knee Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Great player, never heard of him. Hope he scores more frequently than Che.
obelisk Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Welcome to Mr Bree. Hope he does well for Saints. I just pray that the hate brigade can stay off his back for a bit. 1
tunit Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Luton supporting mate really likes Bree. At worst he'll be a decent backup to KWP for the time being, just a shame he's cup tied on Saturday But for 750k I think its a very low risk signing but with the potential to be a good one. 2
Saint Garrett Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Not someone to get you excited, a reserve RB who is teachers pet of a manager most fans don’t want. But welcome anyway. I fear we may well have accepted relegation already. 3

We've spent the last 5yrs shopping there so not sure it's fair to Bree to say he hasnt earnt his chance. 1
Charlie Wayman Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Spy in the camp? Jones' wingman. Golf bag carrier. Say no more. 1

FarehamSaintJames Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 We couldn’t the club have just bought a LB? Why play KWP out of position. It’s obvious Jones doesn’t fancy Perraud given Salisu and KWP play ahead of him. Just buy a natural LB. Baffled. But welcome nonetheless. 👍🏻 1
hasper57saint Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Even if we had signed a £45 mil striker he would still need to be fed. Pissing about in midfield don’t score goals. This lad is just a back up and I hope he does well. However, NJ will still continue with his ‘defensive football’ and it’s getting bloody tedious. I am not very optimistic at the moment as we still make the same silly mistakes week after week. PS. Will there be VAR on Saturday?

It was rumoured we were also interested in Ryan Kent, Then there would only be 8 more players to go to recreate that magical Barnsley team of the 2016-17 season, which finished 14th in the Championship. We should be able to get all 8 of them for less than a million. 1 1
Midfield_General Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Just £750k to get a grass into the dressing room. Bargain! 1

FarehamSaintJames Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Redknapp had Quashie. Plus Defoe, Crouch, Kranjcar etc, elsewhere. Anywhere he could get a back hander on a deal. 1

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Hope he settles in quickly, and does well when called on. He's a known quantity to NJ, so not a risk across a lot of areas. If he steps up as well to this level (which we'll hopefully be at for a while), all the better. I'm not a fan of our CBs as full backs, so this helps balance the squad too.

SaintZamboni Posted 26 January, 2023 Posted 26 January, 2023 Could be useful to have him here on the right and KWP on the left. Maybe we’ll get back some balance. Would work in a 4231 or a 343 as well. welcome and 🤞
