Wouldn't piss on the bloke if he was on fire in front of me.

Lost a 70/30 header with one of their strikers today and turned around to start blaming someone else, something he's done his whole career. Scored more own goals than I've had hot dinners.

Bringing him back from his loan was a microcosm of the last 4 years - accepting mediocrity and the lowest possible standards.

He was awful. He is now even worse. Spends his time backpedaling.

But worse, having three far superior CBs two of whom weren't in the squad today.  That alone should result in Jones exit, let alone the increasing pile of evidence pointing to Jones being an awful Manager.

His absurd own goal yesterday could become the defining image of this relegation - the clumsy pantomime villain with the big mouth finally showing the manager what everyone else in the stadium already knew.

Had it been at the other end neither Che nor AA could have finished that, but give the big man credit, he managed to turn, twist, control and convert a very awkward chance.

It was sad, shocking, funny, horrific, and as it changed a game that we had been in total control of, it will probably be remembered as the moment that summed up a relegation season.

Selles seemed to me to bring with him the 3 at the back, so I reckon that’s how he’ll go on Saturday.

Fuck me, we need a new broom. Just consign the likes of Aribo, Djenepo, Walcott, Janny B to the scrap heap and start again properly with what’s left.

There is some sweet justice here in that Shitnarek has played a nice part in the final demise of the Welsh wonder

There are two things guaranteed to happen more often when Janny B has a run of games for us....1) an increase in own goals and 2) conceding 2 goals in quick succession. It was ever thus.

I think the own goal yesterday was unlucky. This is turning into an ugly pile on and does the club no favours.

He didn't want to be here and got his wish to move to a bigger club where he didn't cut the mustard. He came back with his tail between his legs and, unfortunately for us, Jones decided he was a good option for the first team. As expected it's been one mistake after the other culminating in one of the clumsiest panic-stricken ogs I've ever seen. Bednarek is not good enough for the Premier League and it's time he realised it - he's proved it many times over.

Unlucky us he was on the pitch in the first place. He should never have been brought back.

Yep.

That moment when Jones said "Janny" in that interview my blood went cold knowing he'd be straight in the team and we'd witness more defensive atrocities. Ugh!

Hope I never see him playing football again. So happy when he went to Villa. Never cared about what he said when he joined them. Just had a blast annoying my Villa mate, even though I knew he would not play for them. Just so happy we got rid...

Well, atleast helped get rid of Jones, the above might be too harsh πŸ˜‚

bednarek's second coming certainly wasn't as impressive as Jesus's

To be fair at least Jan had a second coming (horrific as it’s been). Jesus has kept us all waiting a very long time. Needs to be something pretty special to be worth this amount of waiting.

Mind you, there’ll be some celebrations! Remember when Claus finally scored?? And that was only what, 10 years?

Rank your favourite Polish Southampton footballers:

1. Marek Saganowski (For that half a season he was magical. The Wolves game.)

2. Artur Boruc (The much needed goalkeeper improvement. Not many characters like him in football anymore.)

3. Grzegorz Rasiak (Super lazy, but knew where the goal was. That play-off goal will live long in the memory.)

4. Bartosz Bialkowski (Good young goalkeeper for a time, but looked a mess against Blackpool. Ended up forging a good, steady Championship career.)

5. Tomasz Hajto (A weird choice for the number 7 shirt. Looked okay, went to Derby.)

6. Kamil Kosowski (Can’t actually ever remember seeing him play, but according to Wiki he played 18 times and even scored a goal.)

7. Mateusz Lis (Definitely hasn’t ever played for us)

8. Jan Bednarek (Unfortunately has played for us, has a bigger ego than all of the aforementioned names together and a shit footballer to boot. The Polish Wesley Hoedt.)

I'd have Boruc as my top Pole to be honest, top, top keeper - was so happy we got him on a free. Davis had done his time and Boruc was one of those nutty keepers who had that aura about him. I still think Koeman treated him a bit shit.

How we could use Boruc (in his prime) at the moment.   I was sorry to see him displaced by Forster, what, nearly 10 seasons ago?   We haven't really had a decent keeper since.    Saganowski was outstanding until he signed a permanent contract.

Agree. He was a borderline headcase but did a very good job for us and was sorry to see him go. A real character who was also good at his job. Don't recall him having a fall out with Koeman though??

We shipped him out to Bournemouth didn't we, once we bought Forster in.

I remember some tweets he put out, he was clearly unhappy with how that played out.

Do remember him ending up at Bournemouth, was it on loan? Didn't know about the tweets though, thanks for clarifying πŸ‘πŸ½

He posted this one just after Everton had nabbed Koeman. He had an issue with the lack of loyalty he was shown by Koeman when Forster came in, so he fired back -
