Looking ok, but I would like to see Edozie and/or Orsic closer to Mara - they’re too far apart to really work together to fashion something. It’s like watching three different strikers operating separately and independently of each other.

Agreed, Edozie for me should be playing off Mara. Orsic looks a bit lost - neither staying wide nor tucking in and getting involved there.

I think we've knocked the ball around quite nicely - no aimless hoofing. Goal aside, Perraud at left back just balances the side. It makes a big difference having a full back who can overlap and cross with his left foot. Edozie effortlessly gliding through challenges is never less than a lovely sight. Aribo has even seemed half interested.

Been a bit open when countered, and ultimately haven't had much cutting edge still. The club might want to look into whether they accidentally signed Croatia's third best Orsic impersonator. Looks very out of sorts.

Second goal probably ends this contest.

Quite surprised by Elyounoussi, some nice skills and tricks, just lacking an end product.

Edozie is probably the most involved since he got here, Perraud looks sharp too.

Willy in goal hasn't had a huge amount to do, but looks composed and seems to be shouting non stop at the defence.

Would like to see Orsic and Mara do more, but can't complain. Even Aribo has looked alright.

Would so love to see a Mara goal. He has the potential to be superstar. A little more confidence could be catalytic.   In other news... Lavia makes me happy.  I think NJ prob has it about right for this game. Good rotation, great chance for our fringe players to get game time and show what they can do.

Commentators discussing Mara not getting a red card. In my eyes he didn’t even deserve a yellow - he attacked the air in front of the keeper which he’s perfectly entitled to do and the keeper followed through to kick him. Nothing he could do about that and if that’s a foul then you could start dishing out cards for 50% of all challenges!

Yes, a very harsh yellow but this ref has been quite strict. Consistently so though.
