We've all been banging on about signing a striker but the elephant in the room is Bazunu. He is not ready and will be a big part of why we'll be relegated. Should have got a decent keeper in this window.

100%. I'm not that concerned about going forward, we have enough goals in our side to avoid relegation. But Bazunu doesn't save anything that isn't straight at him - and sometimes concedes even those.

That was quite frankly an appalling home performance.

absolute dross. No possession, no chances and I lost count the amount of times Diallo gave the ball away in the midfield today. Stupid fouls that eventually resulted in their goal.

I was still Jones out after last weekend and that has just cemented that opinion. He’s absolutely clueless.

How Alcarez didn’t start over Diallo is beyond me, plus orsic is the only international quality forward we have an he’s puts him on in the last 8 mins.

Bazunu is Sunday league and needs to be dropped asap

We're down. Absolute shite performance at home yet again but people will blame VAR. I agree that the decision was a poor one but we were really shite and that was a winnable home game.

£580 for a season ticket to see us lose most home games. Worst value for money in the league.

Sport Republic are an absolute joke. 21st January and we're still playing shite like Adams and Armstrong upfront.

Should have got one last summer.

I see the Bazunu blamers are put in force again. Free header 6 yards out is his fault apparently. Fact is we can't defend set pieces.

He has been culpable for far too many goals and makes defenders nervous. It is so clear. He wouldn't start for any other team in the Prem and probably not in the Championship either.

Terrible first half. Che utter shite. Villa so much better on and off the ball. VAR decision was bad, but aside from that two minute flurry around their box before the disallowed goal we created no sustained pressure at all.

Must, must, must drop Armstrong, Che and Diallo. It Orsic and Alcaraz aren't good enough to come in and make a difference we might as well give up.

I’m at peace with relegation to be honest, surely better than putting up with this shit every week.

Wait for the same shit in the Championship.

Poor starting line up. Poor tactical setup. Poor performances from starting attacking players. Shit officials. Slow to make changes when things not working. Squad thread bare on quality. 37% possession AT HOME!!! This is a team that is showing all the signs of going down.

17 goals in 20 games enough?!!

Feeble, pathetic rubbish again. In a league that is half full of shit teams we really are excelling at being extra shit at everything. Urgency, formations, tactics, selection, game management, transfer policy, everything. No club deserves relegation more than this club and it is all looking pretty inevitable now. The only hope is that is gets rid of this string of no-hope owners and gets the club an owner that cares. The only thing that surprises is that anyone bothers to show up for home games at all, given the record over the past several seasons. It is more than the club deserve.

Oh, and VAR stinks.

Utterly cheated by the worthless cheating ****ing ****s officiating today.

Villa cheating every time they got tackled got them the three points despite being by far the worst team we’ve seen at St Mary’s this season.

 Utter ****ing scandal.

The fridge has 4 German beers and 4 bottles of South african wine to help me deal with this.

First half we were average, got better in 2nd but have we ever scored a header from a corner or free kick, I don't think I was born when we last did.

Everyone else does it why not us?

What a waste. Villa were poor, but we were really sloppy.

I didn’t think Villa were poor at all, and tbf in the 2nd half we had an go, scored and got tucked up by the pricks that run the game now.

Ultimately though we’ve won ONCE at home all season. It’s the stat of a team headed for the drop.

Adams really shot himself in the foot.

Everyone knows we need a striker and he put in a horrid performance. He should be playing out of his skin to prove he's the guy to keep us up.

You're not concerned about going forward? Are you insane?

That's what I cant understand in this game. Sure new players can take time to adjust but we waited too long to bring Orsic on. Alcaraz I thought would have made sense over Djenepo given the lack of play he's had in the team lately. Bizarre decisions

We're talking about today.

There's not many goalkeepers in world football that would save that header, there's no time to react after pathetic defending from Lyanco and DCC.

All for giving him a hard time when he has made a mistake, but there's certain posters waiting for the ball to hit the back of our net to criticise him.

We can improve but if I had to pick one position to improve this window it would be keeper. With a better keeper we'd have 7-8 more points this season and be in 12th-13th.
