Frantically trying to take some time off, but equally I'm debating If I would be a terrible fan were I to wait until after the first leg to make my mind up!

That was possible for Liverpool last time as we didn't completely sell out.

Leicester were given 3300 for the 1/4 final but as initial sales were slow they sent back half the tickets which then got sold to home fans, I'd have thought we'd have something similar but if not sold many before first leg they'll return them.

All these people saying Newcastle is a tougher draw than Man U! Behave!

Newcastle are a mid table team on a roll. We'll shit them.

They've got the base of the good team with the money they've already spent, however they haven't bought enough yet as their team is still sporadically filled with a few shitters we could exploit, if we get into them like the game last night we could turn them over.

Yep, I think I can say with certainty that unless club puts on free coaches or subsidised flights or something, this will go general sale.

My appetite would decrease massively if we were to lose 4-1 at home as we did in the PL game.

Shame it's home first leg as I would imagine the club would've had to make a decision on size of allocation before the St Mary's match. Some fans will understandably want to wait and see how we do at home before committing to a midweek 650-mile round trip, little fun if on the back of a bad result first up. Hopefully the Geordies price it sensibly (particularly as our lot will be sat up in the clouds to watch it)

Whats the best method of parking at heathrow that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?

Last time I went to Heathrow used rail - Air link connection from Woking, was reasonable price and regular , worth looking into.

Plenty of advance train deals available up Tuesday back Wednesday still, Travelodge and Premier Inn not too pricey yet, that's best option I think, it's a nice train journey up from King's Cross.

Still think it's cheaper to drive if you live in Southampton once you add up train fares and/or flights.

I've driven to Bristol and flown to Newcastle a few times because you can park for free in the nearby village and flights were dirt cheap. There's no flights up there on a Tuesday though.

I'm booked on trains already but hope the club offer some discounted coaches help get a few more up there, dread to think what time they'd get back in the morning, probably just in time to go straight to work !

Just so people know if considering flying, the airport is a few miles north of Newcastle, about a 7 mile taxi trip (15 mile if they know you're a Saints fan) to St James' Park or train takes about half an hour to the city centre or stadium.

Just take the metro from the airport, it will take you pretty much to the steps of St James Park. We did this when we went up for Super League's Magic Weekend event a few years ago, back when return flight for 2 of us were only about £30 more than the cost of diesel and parking up there!

It’s this sort of shite that annoys me about Newcastle, you see spouted a lot. This isn’t unique, most cities in the country are exactly the same. I remember he said similar stuff about Newcastle should sign Charlie Austin a few years ago, because Newcastle fans love a striker up there. Really? Just them? Or does every club in the world love a striker?
