As far as 'stripes' go, this is probably just about perfect.

Always preferred when we've used white as the base with red stripes, rather than red with white.. if that makes sense.

White with red worked for our last 2 promotions.

Not so good this season of course.

Def agree, i get you , white base with the red over, too much red otherwise.
also agree the point that there are so many cameras and officials why is there a need for plain backs? We should be black numbers over stripes!

that first one is a lovely modernisation of the 2000 kit - i think the first Friends Provident kit. I like the stripes on the second but would be better with the black collar.

I personally wish we would bring back Umbro. Our two promotion kits were excellent and even our PL return kit was nice for a change (red with white pin stripes). I feel Umbro "get it" more than most manufacturers.

First one is my favourite. How easy was it to do that… let’s just see what a load of rubbish we do actually get…. Again!!

If asked what is our usual kit would you answer "Red & white stripes" or "White & red stripes"?  It's pretty much always referred to as R&W even if it's predominantly white. Is that because the red has traditionally been the predominant colour or simply because it seems the natural way to say it?

Not a lover of the first, the other two are good. Would like to see what they all look like if the stripe colours were swapped, I always prefer the centre stripe to be white.

I really like the third one. The first two are horrible and show that as soon as you add black to the (red and white) mix, it ruins things IMO.

It's time to drop the black, return to navy shorts and get this show back on the road.

Never been a fan of that Hummel design. Just far too busy for my own taste. But, sure, lets get it out of the way.

If I was to buy this I would hate to have that lump of plastic that’s the sponsor logo on my chest/stomach…feels and looks  terrible. Just wish they’d offer supporters the opportunity to purchase without it. Which is why I’ll not be buying it.

Indeed. It doesn't fit your snippets of info at all.

To me it sounds likely now, what with the anniversary as well and that they pretty much said we would get this shirt at some stage ..

what was it you heard again stripes but not in a traditional way ?

Agreed, I don’t know how we’ve managed to regress so badly when it comes to sponsors logos. 20 years ago we had decent quality lettering individually stuck on with the Friends Provident logo and they stayed on in the wash. These days it seems to be a big piece of white plastic, which stands out against the pattern of the actual shirt like a sore thumb and feels like a Twix wrapper has been glue on with Pritt-stick.

It wasn’t all great back then.

The Pony Dimplex kit had that horrible, thick, fuzzy monstrosity on it that was a haven for pet hairs and the like. It was also so rigid that it made you look like Mr Square.

Quite like all the DSB mockups.  They're mostly all quite clean designs but whatever we usually get always seems messy in comparison.

To be fair is always going to look clean on a mock up, it doesn't have to take into account the joining seams in fabrics, different textures or even if it's practical to actually make it at a reasonable (should have put that word in invered commas🤣) cost.  Still no excuse for crap designs when it comes to the finished article though.

How would that work and when would we get to wear the second one if the  first clashes with the home side ?

As the fans become walking billboards, they ought to get paid to wear them.

Guess one comes off as red and one white ? Or maybe as a third kit ?

I know Denmark just had the two versions as home and away

Denmark had to have a third version which was green, although I'm not sure if they ever wore it...

Strangely I think the design lends itself to a decent change kit, in yellow/blue  or sky/navy but it appears half pink in the old home kit (Danish away kit).

Agreed. White on red though, that looks fantastic. Would also look good in blue / yellow as an away kit.

I remember Denmark wearing this.

To be honest it is a more effective red and white kit that our old one which, as much as I like it, is red and pink.

Please no throwback Danish 87 kit! We had it before and it was crap then, it’s pink to look  at during a game!! A nice crisp red white stripe ….. come on 🤦🏻‍♂️
