Tony Adams really is on to a winner when he gets to replace one of the best young midfielders in the world with Hayden Mullins.

Glad to see Pompey are showing about as much ambition as us.

Mullins isn't the most exciting signing but he'll do a job for us until we can spend a bit more money in the summer. Decent squad player and most West Ham fans seem to think he's a decent player. We were never going to sign anyone as good as Diarra anyway but, assuming we stay up, we'll buy a couple of decent players in Jan who'll improve the squad.

Anyway, if The Mail are correct (and they've been on the ball with most Pompey stories lately) Saviola has agreed to join us on loan for the rest of the season. Should fit in nicely behind Crouch in a 4 5 1 formation.

Didn't you just get truck loads for Defoe?

If you haven't got any money now, what makes you think you'll be loaded in the summer?

Gaydamak is waiting for an escalation in Gaza, then he can cash in on his sales and fund some more purchases.

Oh sorry, I forgot. It's his son who owns Pompey.
