I'm not at all worried about NJ now, I'm more concerned with who we get to replace him.   We are relegated, nobody could turn this clusterfuck around, but what we do need is somebody who can get this lot sorted out for next year.  Whoever comes in is pretty much guaranteed to have a relegation added to their CV almost instantly. We ain't the most attractive of propositions for a lot of managers.

What is there to consider

Exactly. Imagine sitting down and trying to write a list of pros and cons of keeping him. What the actual fuck would you put in the pros column? I can't think of a single one.

I don't give a fuck about the stuff on the training ground we don't see that Rasmus talked about. All that matters is what happens on the pitch, and the game management in the second half today was indefesnsibly shite. He won't get a better chance to get 3 points than he did from there but he still completely fucked it up.

He's an incompetent fraud, and an embarrassment to SFC. The best time to sack him was weeks ago when it became obvious to anybody with any football knowledge that he's not the man to keep us up and take us forward. The next best time is now.

Let’s get this right.

Wolves gave us a goal head start plus they played with one man less and still beat us.

I’m sorry Mr Ankerson but you can’t defend this plus all the other shit results.

First thing in the morning get him in your office and fire the cunt. And while he’s walking out the door take a long good look in the mirror and mutter no more appointment fuck ups. Get us fans a decent  manager ASAP!

Why it’s not happened tonight I’ll never know.  Can’t come as a surprise to him surely.

You know what, I've gone past caring now.

This is how sad this situation has become.

I had a season ticket until two seasons ago and now I barely go.

Takes some doing for a club to suck all the passion, belief and excitement out of matchdays in a short space of time but they've achieved it.

id go with Bielsa, get him to work with what we probably will have next season when relegated, we have some good youngsters that he could work well with, them and i hope a few of our first teamers atm, he could work miracles. He knows the league well and does have prem experience, sort of what we need atm.

I was incredulous when i heard Bielsa wanted the u23 job at everton(this season) not the senior job(till next season). Funny thing is i now i sort of think, maybe that mightn't be such a bad thing for Saints (as this season is a right off now)

If we kept Jones and gave Bielsa the under 23s job it will work, as half our first team turns out for them anyway, masterstroke.

He seems the type.

Over inflated ego, thinks he’s better than he is, that he’s some kind of power house in English football. Him and the skates are made for each other.

They’d fucking love it though, the manager that got the scummers relegated. He’d probably enjoy a way to get back at us too.

Useless little welsh prick

Are you for real?

Just look at my posts back when he was appointed. I tried to explain that I regularly attend Luton games and that I had only ever seen a man who was a complete egomaniac, managing a team with no real tactics. The real credit at Luton should go to the likes of Mick Harford and the backroom staff... Not Nathan Jones.

At the time, I was told to stop being so negative and to fuck off back to Luton. Interestingly, Luton have got themselves a decent manager in Rob Edwards. Tactically they look miles better than when the chest thumping, badge kissing prick was barking from the touchline.

I hated him at Luton. I hate him even more at Southampton. We've had some shit managers but this wanker takes the biscuit.

Yes Sidney I was taking the piss 😂 atleast now your grievances are all in one post and you don't need to repeat yourself.

Nothing to stop him walking of his own accord.

Other than his heady combination of self delusion and arrogance you mean🤷 Think yourselves lucky he won't be in charge as long as he was with us. We're a bit thick in Stoke so plenty of the fans bought into his 'pashun' schtick.  He survived far longer than he deserved.

He's an utter, utter fraud of a football manager. Ali Dia was more of a player than this clown is a football manager.

I was just thinking on the drive home, how did Stoke fans put up with this for 30+ games and genuinely, how were you not given some sort of fan award for patience?

I wanted him gone after a matter of weeks, we had an international break in the February where he have the players 2 weeks off. He openly wrote the season off because Rowett had already got the points to keep us up. He lost me as soon as he did that.

Plenty of others defended him to the hilt. They bought into his bullshit.

I honestly feel so embarrassed to type this but I would take Pulis, Mark Hughes. steve Bruce, Allardyce and even Roy hodgson or Southgate over Jones

Jones isn't fit to wear Pulis' baseball cap. Super Tone would beat that wet weekend excuse of a 'manager' at tiddlywinks nevermind premier league football.

Well, they are all indisputably far more competent than Jones.

Not sure I want any of them in next week. Maybe Big Sam or Hodgson just to get us to June. They might actually instill some organisation and structure that the young kids might benefit from.

They’ll say the first half showed glimpses of what is possible and he needs time. Then in a few games time, they’ll say, Jones is the man to help rebuild and he has the metrics and knows the championship so whilst we still believe we can stay up, Jones has a wealth of experience that we need. Roll on 8 games into Championship season and then they’ll finally sack him with us in the bottom 3.

Ok, I’m being defeatist but if he isn’t gone by lunchtime tomorrow I can’t see them sacking him this season.

We have one smug idiot here who also fits that description.

Realistically we aren’t getting in a high-calibre manager in now, not in our position. I think that’s time up for us in the Premier League for a while.

We need a manager who can improve our form with an eye to next year. Give us some pride to finish the season and get some of these players into a cohesive unit ready for the championship.

No one any good is going to take over. We’re as good as down. They will sack him sooner rather than later but it’ll be Selles or a temporary appointment and make a permanent decision in the summer.

Rasmus’ little experiment hasn’t worked but he’s desperately trying to work out how to spin this.

I would love to be a fly on the wall as he explains this to the owners, and how the money they spent in January is a good investment.

How they’ve spent more than it cost to buy the club on new players and we’ve gone from 15th to being by far the worst team In the division
