Probably Levy kicking off about one of the Spurs kids who joined us. I hope so, worth it if has in any way pissed him off.

If it is the Spurs kid then that probably explains why it took a little longer than expected after it was leaked. Also think that kid was pretty much a done deal to City before they snoozed/messed up and we swooped in, so the lad has probably had a stressful summer.

Meghoma, the left back, didn’t complete his move until only recently when his deal was meant to be complete at the same time as Amo-Ameyaw about June/July time

It's good they have the transfer ban threat in there, a 10k fine to a PL is meaningless, you could see clubs breaking the rules all the time if they just got £10k, £20k fines.

The ban is more of a deterrent and I’m sure to reoffend the ban will not be suspended and be for longer period.

The club better get their paperwork in order if they say they didn’t breach the rules but cannot provide evidence.

The club say they didn't break the rules and have been provided with no convincing evidence to show they did.

Surely it is up to the PL to get there paperwork in order...

No. They ask the questions as part of the investigation. Having evidence to support the   process was followed (I.e. no wrongdoing) helps answer the questions.

That doesn't seem to be the case though? We have stated we're innocent and made a case to state we're in compliance with the rules. No evidence has been provided to demonstrate that we have breached the rules, but we have accepted the "punishment" for the welfare of the player. Its not even a meaningful punishment... the Athletic provide numerous examples of other clubs that have breached the rules and have had far more significant punishments including lengthy bans on academy transfers - something that was not dished out to us, presumably because there is no evidence to show we are guilty of anything untoward. All in all, a bit of a weird one.

They can ask all the questions they like but the presumption is still 'innocent until proven guilty', which puts the onus on the PL to get their paperwork in order....

It’s very difficult to provide evidence of something you didn’t do! FA need to be providing evidence we did do it

Nope. Hence the fine and suspended ban.

The PL make rules for PL clubs to follow in line with the governing body, the FA. Clubs need to comply with them, therefore the onus is with the club to show compliance.

Same thing happens when HMRC, MHRA, HSE, etc investigate.
