Channon's Sideburns Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Lowe is on holiday and Wildes a recluse. We're a rudderless ship. Van der Waals?????
John B Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Lowe is on holiday and Wildes a recluse. We're a rudderless ship. What does running the club actually mean? I thought the team was being run by Wotte from today
Channon's Sideburns Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 What does running the club actually mean? I thought the team was being run by Wotte from today That's what Wotte thinks as well.
Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 What does running the club actually mean? I thought the team was being run by Wotte from today Are you for real. Saints are in the weeds and Lowe is off skiing and Wilde is in hiding. If Crouch was behaving like this you and the rest of Ruperts rat pack would be going divvy.
Lunatic Fridge Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 What does running the club actually mean? I thought the team was being run by Wotte from today Try asking the CEO's of Arsenal, Manure, Liverpool or even Pimpey - you might find the answer- Muppet.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Are you for real. Saints are in the weeds and Lowe is off skiing and Wilde is in hiding. If Crouch was behaving like this you and the rest of Ruperts rat pack would be going divvy. Are you for real? Do you honestly think that Lowe is going to sit in a suit 24/7 and be "in charge" all the time? What about all his other companies that he is director of too? He would never have a day off if that were the case. I think he is probably "in charge" of making sure people are in post to do the jobs of running the club whether he is there or not.

I think he is probably "in charge" of making sure people are in post to do the jobs of running the club whether he is there or not. That is what I would have thought too. And Lowe may have a mobile phone so he can be contacted in the event of a serious problem
Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 That is what I would have thought too. And Lowe may have a mobile phone so he can be contacted in the event of a serious problem Going on holiday at this time is shocking behaviour. There's no excuse. Would you have an issue if Crouch had done the same thing?
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Going on holiday at this time is shocking behaviour. There's no excuse. Would you have an issue if Crouch had done the same thing? Oh yeah, really shocking. Being seen balls deep in a dead chicken is shocking mate. Going away for a few days while still being fully contactable isn't, whether it be Lowe, Crouch or anyone else in charge. It just doesn't fit your agenda, is all.
Victor Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 That is what I would have thought too. And Lowe may have a mobile phone so he can be contacted in the event of a serious problem So he's going to do tomorrow's team talk by mobile phone? Sorry, but I don't thonk that's good enough.
brightspark Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Lowe is off skiing Maybe a saints fan will spot him and send him down a double black unaware? devious but necessary!!??!!
John B Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Are you for real. Saints are in the weeds and Lowe is off skiing and Wilde is in hiding. If Crouch was behaving like this you and the rest of Ruperts rat pack would be going divvy. So you dont go skiing neither do I
JonnyLove Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 I'm running SFC and so's my wife. Liar you don't have a wife (let a lone a any kind of female companion)
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 So he's going to do tomorrow's team talk by mobile phone? Sorry, but I don't thonk that's good enough.

If a politician goes on holiday during a national emergency they get slated. Saints are in the most perilous position we've ever been in and Lowe goes skiiing whilst Wilde stays in hiding. It's not about agendas, it's about Saints being a rudderless ship with no-one on board.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Going on holiday at this time is shocking behaviour. There's no excuse. Would you have an issue if Crouch had done the same thing? There is never a good time for Lowe to have a holiday, bet most anti's think its outrageous he is spending money on a holiday, "that money could have paid some wages and helped avoid administration", he is damned no matter Wotte, if he were to front this press conference there would be cries of this is a matter for the football chairman, a weeks holiday by the PLC chairman will have zero effect on the Norwich result or indeed Swansea result, putting in the public arena his holiday thus absence from the next home game may dampen the protest against him in particular
brightspark Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Lowe can have time off from May - July if he pleases. Not January. If he loves his skiing so much he can go to that indoor centre in Milton Keynes, or go to the Sunshine Village Slush Cup in Canada. Anyhow, he shouldn't be away, it is another bullet point to his novel of mistakes while at this club. Teachers don't go on holiday in term. Chairman don't go on holiday in season.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 You do talk some sh!te. If a politician goes on holiday during a national emergency they get slated. Mmm, Saints changing a manager while Chairman is skiing v National Emergency (say an earthquake?) while primeminister is on holiday. One of these is serious, one isn't. See if you can spot it people. Double points if Stanley can due to his delusional mind and the knackers swinging infront of his eyes.

I am sorry but I dont real know what you think Lowe should be doing in this time of emergengy. Perhaps the finances are OK Surely you dont want him to play or coach the team?
Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 Teachers don't go on holiday in term. Chairman don't go on holiday in season. Great post.
Kingsland Codger Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 When someone is away on holiday is usually a good time to stage a palace coup.
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Great post. Could you define "great" in this instance? Is it "great" because he agrees with you and that alone? Comparing a teacher to Lowe is stupid but since you want it explaining, it might as well be me that does it. Imagine that SFC was like one big school. Maybe, then, the players would all be the pupils, the coaches would be the teachers and the board would be the secretaries etc. Now, in areal school which of these can chose their own holidays and which have to abide by the school term? I will give you a clue, the secretaries can choose their own holidays as it does not interfere with the school learning schedule.
Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 It wont be cowan [taking the press conference as] he is elsewhere The Marie Celeste springs to mind.
Master Bates Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 If there's no Lowe, Cowan or Wilde at SMS then lets go storm the castle!!!!!!!!!!!
Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 Why cant Wilde do it ? He is the chairman. Wilde........in front of the cameras........on his own. LMAO.
Scummer Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 If there's no Lowe, Cowan or Wilde at SMS then lets go storm the castle!!!!!!!!!!! Would be quite funny actually. I wonder how hard it would be to get past security and stage a sit down protest at the press conference. If you had 20+ people I can't see them being able to stop you.
Scudamore Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 My boss went on holiday for two whole weeks last year... Our rudderless ship of a business almost collapsed...
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 wilde........in front of the cameras........on his own. Lmao. lol!!!!
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 My boss went on holiday for two whole weeks last year... Our rudderless ship of a business almost collapsed... Have you addressed the lack of rudder situation now?
St. Jason Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 That is what I would have thought too. And Lowe may have a mobile phone so he can be contacted in the event of a serious problem What like impending relegation, administration, new manager etc. Your right, everyone is allowed a holiday, one would question the timing though, he wasn't at the last home game, now away for the next couple!

I will give you a clue, the secretaries can choose their own holidays as it does not interfere with the school learning schedule. Your right the secretaries can choose their own holidays but the headmaster don't!! As already said, no one is doubting his right to take a break, its just his timing. My holiday is booked for July, I never go away during the season!
SFC Forever Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 That is what I would have thought too. And Lowe may have a mobile phone so he can be contacted in the event of a serious problem First/ Mobile phones have a habit of being turned of when you need to contact someone. Second/ Lowe has a habit of employing idiots who are not up to the job.
St. Jason Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 My boss went on holiday for two whole weeks last year... Our rudderless ship of a business almost collapsed... Did your boss sack your manager and appoint a new one 2 days before he went away? Is your boss fighting administration, is your company on the brink of collapse? Is your company's trading window only open for january?? Come on mate, timing's poor!!
JohnnyFartPants Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Your right the secretaries can choose their own holidays but the headmaster don't!! As already said, no one is doubting his right to take a break, its just his timing. My holiday is booked for July, I never go away during the season! The headmaster is a qualified teacher that has to step into classes should a teacher be ill. Lowe isn't in this situation. Well done on not going away during the season. Are you the caretaker?
Scudamore Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Robert Braithwaite of Sunseeker went on holiday for two whole weeks last year... They sent out several rudderless yachts in that time...bloody disgraceful...
Mole Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 The headmaster is a qualified teacher that has to step into classes should a teacher be ill. Lowe isn't in this situation. Well done on not going away during the season. Are you the caretaker? Lowe is the commander in chief of SFC, in the same way as Gordon Brown is the commander in chief of the UK. If our country has a national emergency such as a terror attack or a BSE outbreak he is expected to cancel any holiday plans. Lowe should be expected to be on duty as CEO at this time when the club is in it's worst ever state.

Well done on not going away during the season. Are you the caretaker? Is the timing bad or not? Not anti-pro Lowe, don't even mention his name, the timing is bad, the transfer window is open, a new manager has just taken over, we are on the brink of relegation/admin, wither it be Lowe, Wilde, Crouch, the timing is poor, very poor!

If Crouch had done the same last year, there would have been hell to pay. Must be dark for them all up Rupert's Ar$e.

Channon's Sideburns Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 In what way precisely? Hahahaha...see what you did there. Numerous postings on TSF perhaps? But, we weren't approaching Admin on the Starship Enterprise then were we? If only Rupe's Klingons (Askham, Richards etc) would get off the starboard bow, we could move forward. Forgetting Rupert for a moment - where the **** is Wilde? On a secluded beach with Lord Lucan and Elvis discussing evasion techniques I guess...

Forgetting Rupert for a moment - where the **** is Wilde? On a secluded beach with Lord Lucan and Elvis discussing evasion techniques I guess... Wilde has no friends or allies. He's more marginalised than Rupert Lowe. In the past he used people like Keith Legg and the Saints Trust to put his side accross, but now he has no-one to bat for him and he can't handle it. He's looking more and more like a hermit by the day. Even i feel a tinge of sorrow for him. Edited 26 January, 2009 by Mole
Scudamore Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Where is Wilde? He released a statement on the OS on Friday. Is he supposed to remind us of his existence every day?! Maybe a Going Wilde blog perhaps? Dear Diary. Nobody likes me. Michael Wilde.

Maybe a Going Wilde blog perhaps? Dear Diary. Nobody likes me. Michael Wilde. Did he release a statement? It's certainly questionable given that Mary Corbett reckons he doesn't even write his own programme notes!
John B Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Did he release a statement? It's certainly questionable given that Mary Corbett reckons he doesn't even write his own programme notes! Is that the same Mary Corbett who got Wilde into SFC in the first place. I think her judgement is very questionable
david in sweden Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Lowe is on holiday and Wildes a recluse. We're a rudderless ship. RUBBISH ! My unnamed source says that the cleaning lady makes a great cup of tea, and that, as we know, keeps the English going ! Wanna' cup, Mark ?
Scudamore Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Did he release a statement? It's certainly questionable given that Mary Corbett reckons he doesn't even write his own programme notes! But you'd lead me to believe that Rupert Lowe is the puppet master that can't allow anyone to get on with their job without interferring. Thus he must have written that then. And yet you want to have a pop for him going on holiday in which case he can't have written it. Which is it? Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
