Klipperty is in the stands for this one. I hope Nathan is a master of the dark arts, our players should be flying into every tackle like Boris Johnson did against that kid, the World Cup is coming ffs, we should go full Norman Hunter!!

It's the perfect day and setting to reintroduce the infamous 'Alehouse Brawlers' to the world.

Edit: before someone else points it out, realistically we'd end up with around 5-6 players left on the pitch - on both sides for different reasons.

I was categorically told that a new manager bounce would mean we’d win our first five games from the “Ralph Out” brigade. So anything less than a 3-0 win is unacceptable.

My guess is 3-4-3: Bazunu; DCC, ABK, Salisu; AMN, JWP, Lavia, Perraud; S. Armstrong, Adams, Edozie

Hoping that Adam Armstrong and Aribo’s underwhelming performances the other night should see them at the back of the queue. Walcott should be ahead of them.

Tough call between Elyounoussi or Edozie. I don't rate Elyounoussi but can see why he would play in this particular game. Edozie played well on Wednesday night and does deserve a start.

You can't handle the truth my dreamy friend.

Is there any chance the positive version of Charlie might return in the foreseeable future or has that member of the Charlie posting team been sacked for going off script? ;)

No one said that.

So are we going to get this every time we lose?

Some hilarious bore posting "but the Ralph out brigade...".

I wanted Ralph gone because we hardly ever won and his tactics were boring and ineffective. I don't know what the new guy will do.

If Jones sticks to his preferred tactics, expecting a midfield diamond with Lavia in front of the back 4 and Moi or SA at the front.

I don’t think he’s chucked the diamond out first game away at Liverpool with 3 CBs on the pitch. Need actual wingbacks to play that system and we only have one fit to make the entire squad.

as said in his pre match interview, he won't change too much for this game and bring in his own style yet.

Will be a 352.......well more of a 532 away to Liverpool 😅

Delighted to see Aribo not starting, has been bang average most of the season. A couple of sparkly goals doesn’t make up for the other woeful performances.

Ely starting is annoying but that said AMN was crap against Newcastle last weekend.

Aside from that what more can he really do 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good line up all round!

Usually find that when the OS lists the team, the order is accurate to what the formation will be. It could be a 3 at the back, but I reckon more like it is actually DCC at RB and a version of 4-2-2-2. So, not ideal. I was hoping he’d make central midfield more competitive by going with 3 CMs in there but I think we can view this as a Selles team.

Aribo has been so frustrating so far, clearly a player with talent but my god he seems outrageously lazy at times. He jogs around a lot and seems to be a fair bit off the pace. Hopefully Jones can get him going and find the right position in the side as well.
