Interesting that this is the third game in a row that Argentina have gone 1-0 up with a dubious penalty.

 

Penalty number 5 in the tournament for them now.

Our son has just cashed out a £5 free bet on Buildabet, based on goals, yellow cards, and scorers, for £47 on his wife's advice.

 

Edit: if he had left it on, the third yellow would have lifted it to £137.

No, just an appreciation that some teams / players are at such a high level that they’re capable of turning a game on its head in the time it takes someone to nip out for a quick piss.

I know what you mean but Argies woudl have been home and hosed 8 times out of ten if France performed that poorly

Totally agree and couldn’t see any way back for them to be honest. That said, I’m not surprised in the slightest this happened (such is the talent they have).

FFS Messi who gets tackled easily during the game has an easy tap in along with his penalty to fuel Lineker et al in the BBC studios obsessed session talking about him every two seconds for another few years.
