One of the worst teams I've ever seen at a WC. 

If this was the women's tournament there would undoubtedly be a few people claiming you couldn't take it seriously with teams this bad taking part.

Spain pass the ball beautifully and have wonderful control of the football. But it was like they were playing against an under 10s team today. Play like that against the Spanish and it’ll certainly Costya.

There will be more of this in future with the World Cup expanding to 48 teams in 2026.

Having 16 groups of 3 teams is going to be a bit shit as well. There will no doubt be a few teams turning up, getting thrashed twice and going home.

There's a lot of talk about our 'golden generation' of the mid 00's, but you have to say Belgium are totally wasting the chance they should have with theirs. Should have won something by now with the group they have imo.

Lukaku, De Bryune, Hazard, Toby, Cortouis, Vertonghen, Kompany, Carrasco etc. Top players at their prime who'd have walked into any team in world football.
