It's entirely possible that the tightness has eased and they don't consider there to be any risk of damage if he plays a part of the game today. You are completely making up different little scenarios in your head aren’t you bless you.
The Cat Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 (edited) I find it really interesting that a load of random people on a forum have more insight into a players injury than the club. Does anyone seriously think Adams would be dropped or rested or whatever you want to call it if he was 100% fit? Also, it's not the manager who would be clearing a player to start or not, it's the physio team. But don't let that stop you frothing at the mouth with indignation about something you have no idea about. Edited 23 October, 2022 by The Cat 13
suewhistle Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Why doesn't DT just go and "support" another team who make him happy? Anyway, another post wasted expressing my frustration at his sheer, unremitting, repetitive negativity. Trousers will be happy with the two nippers on the bench.. 6 1

Tight hamstrings can be exacerbated by the slightest thing. Going for sprints, changing direction or recieving a hard challenge can turn it into a 6 week+ lay-off. Hopefully it's one of those special tight hamstrings that lets you do those things with minimal risk 👍 Edited 23 October, 2022 by Disco Stu 1

Turkish Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 So we’re missing our best full back our best centre back our best central midfielder and our best striker. Oh dear

Baird of the land Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Adams Hamstring issue. Got to wonder why he's even on the bench. 1

I’d like to express my frustration at you using your last post to express your frustration, but I have unlimited posts so it’s not quite so frustrating for me, so I concede to your greater level of frustration. Enjoy your pre match ale, and hopefully the game as well.

Patrick Bateman Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 I have a spare couple of hours now, where can I watch this impending sh*t show?

Toussaint Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Presumably Lyanco is RB? We might be okay if Stu is on has game and Diallo picks up where he left off on Wednesday, I’m guessing Aribo is further forward?

Mr X Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Maybe Ralph will pull off a masterstroke and I'll eat my own words (I hope I do have to) but this lineup/formation looks a disaster waiting to happen!

Lighthouse Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Does anyone actually like being deafened by a brass band playing the same ten bars of OWTS, on a continuous loop for ten minutes before kick off?

Holmes_and_Watson Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 4-4-2 says the commentator - Lyanco at right back.
Saint_clark Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Some day I might understand why we insist on passing the ball backwards and sideways all the way to the keeper just to punt it as long as possible straight to the opposition anyway.
Sheaf Saint Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Did Sky just crank up the volume of the Arsenal fans? Absolute c*nts. 1 1

Saint_clark Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 "The keeper cannot come for it" well he could, it was in his fucking 6 yard box.
obelisk Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Saints might be better advised to try and stop the crosses coming in.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Somehow Villa managing to take the lead without the tactical genius of Steve G 🙂
Saint NL Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 I'm enjoying Alan Smith giving 110% on the pronunciation of player names. He's adding a real zazz to it

My biggest annoyance with RH tactics. Almost every time there is a forward looking ball on to spring a player but no, too risky to lose the ball. But then we let them get set and then hoof it back to them.
Saint_clark Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Annoys me that the commentators were utterly silent during Aribos skillful run there, whereas if that were Saka they'd have banged on about it for the next 5 minutes. 4
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Really good recoveries from Aribo there. He does really well in challenges.
OttawaSaint Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Good run by Lyanco but a pass would have been better than that shot.
Holmes_and_Watson Posted 23 October, 2022 Posted 23 October, 2022 Lyanco wastes a good move by having a go. We may not get loads of chances, so that deserved a rollicking. Then AA doesn;t make a run, where a striker with some confidence would always make.
