We tend to go through long spells of being naff and the pin looking good. I can see the team coming together at the moment with the added key players returning, it’s look good. I thought we would beat West Ham and Bournemouth and lose to Arsenal though, but 4 points I thought would be respectable.
Dr Who? Posted 27 October, 2022 Share Posted 27 October, 2022 Also the media and on here keep going on about lack of clean sheets, but we are hardly shedding goals by the bucket load (Man City & Spurs away aside. We tend to just let the 1 in. If we could just notch in a few more. Conceded 1 in a game - Leicester, Man U, Chelsea, Villa, Wolves, West Ham, Arsenal. 7 out of our 11 games. But only scored 6 conceding 7 with 3 being 1-0 defeats. Conceded 2 in a game - Leeds & Everton Conceded more than 2 - Spurs & Man City. I would say we are hardly falling apart and I believe the owners can see this. We have a really new squad of players that are not far off getting it together. It is not like we are getting battered every week. Yes we need to score more and need to be winning more game and hopefully this will start again on Saturday.

sfc4prem Posted 29 October, 2022 Share Posted 29 October, 2022 We tend to pick up unexpected results against big clubs, which are then followed by complacent and dire losses to teams in and around us. So frustrating.
