The Kraken Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Too easy. We have no midfield presence and they’re just going to overwhelm us.
Archers Road Stand Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 More shite defending. The midfield two are useless.
OttawaSaint Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Statues, totally giving up, bad giveaway by SA, everyone just stopped. Our team doesn't have an ounce of confidence at all. RH can leave now...
Saint Matty 76 Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Where the fuck is KWP? That's like four attacks he's not even been on the screen?
Saint NL Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 That view of the goal. How did man city have four players against two defenders? This is suicidal
The Cat Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Stuart Armstrong complete garbage giving the ball away for the second. One thing you can't do in these types of games is give away possession so cheaply. Man City's attackers make most defences look like traffic cones. 1
saintant Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Get to half time at 2-0 and that's acceptable.
Micky Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 On course for a 6 nil. Pretty good if we can get out at that..!
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 City won't have a more easier game all season.
Chez Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 service is non existent, but our strikers may as well not be playing. Che hasn't won anything in the air and is failing to hold the ball up. Got to do more. ball keeps coming back...ah fuck, its two.
OttawaSaint Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Look like a team not playing for the coach.

Saint NL Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Why is ward prowse marking Haaland at corners? 1
Saint Fan CaM Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Once again, Bazunu passes to their midfield and three passes later it’s in the back of the net. No slow build up play…no recycling of the ball. Oh, on another note, why are we not playing in our home kit?!

HKsaint Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Attacking then passing back to the goalkeeper and then kicking outside the pitch

OttawaSaint Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 That was classic Ralphball...we actually got it into an attacking area and then just stopped and slowly played the ball all the way back to Baz so he could hump it upfield to...City. We do this every game, why? 2

Win the ball, get plenty of numbers up around their penalty area, and it’s back at our goalkeeper within ten seconds. Cowardly football. 5
obelisk Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Saints work a good attacking position and the ball ends up back with the 'keeper. At least try to score Saints. 2
SNSUN Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Just in from work, how're we d.... ...oh. Could be worse.

saintant Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Just now, The Cat said: He isn't, we zonally mark. Haaland is just stood in the area near him. What is the point of zonal marking? An attacker runs from one zone to another so the bloke who might have been marking him ends up marking nobody. Meanwhile the attacker has run into another zone and chances are he'll not be picked up cos nobody sees him coming. Weird system.

BotleySaint Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 We don't really stand a chance against the megabucks of City to be fair. Totally different class of investment. Ralph will still be here for a while yet..
SNSUN Posted 8 October, 2022 Posted 8 October, 2022 Too early for sexy nuns? I don't think even divine intervention will help today.

In their defence, they have had zero service today. RH has got the front 4 pushing right up to try and stop City playing out from the back, but it's still far too easy for them. There is literally no link between CM and attack. Nothing. 2
