The Telegraph reporter said our centre backs relished the physical challenge and gave Haarland orobably his most difficult time so far this year. not having watched the match I can't comment, but would be interested in comments from those who went.

No, I wouldn’t agree with that. Haaland scored, hit the post when clean through, and had another couple of misses which on another day he would easily put away.

When he played against bournemouth he only touched the ball 8 times all game. His day against Saints wasn’t his toughest test by any means whatsoever, he could very easily have had a hat trick.

Letting him go wasn’t the issue, replacing him with AMN was the issue. We replaced Romeu AND brought in Lavia to play first team football. We’ve still added depth to that position, but we were never going to keep all three.

If AMN hadn’t played/trained like a fish up a tree so far, nobody would be missing Romeu.

Just don’t get the AMN hate train, he’s played one game and he wasn’t scared to get stuck into them, yeah his passing was a wayyyy off but James probably misplaced just as many that game.

ralph obviously doesn’t like him though so whatever

Hopefully that'll be moot very soon.
