There can be no denying after this latest confidence hit we are in a relegation battle... Make the change now, nothing to lose!

Mara applies more pressure on a city defender than Che has done all game. earns a corner.

Great defending by Salisu and BK. They have kept the score down.

It is so sad that we cant really say who else in our squad who is fit should have played!!

Pretty concerning

It's not so much about who else is fit it is more a case of wondering why we are so bad under Ralph and he seems incapable of getting the team set up to do even the basics. That is the concern and one of the reasons he should go.

4-0 would be a bad result. Still a thrashing, but not quite enough to get him the sack

That's the annoying thing they won't pull the trigger on this

Utterly pointless, as we all predicted. Annoyingly, not humiliating enough for him to get the boot at 5.30pm

We wait until 85 mins to start stringing together any serious spell of pressure on the City goal. Seems to be since Mara and Larios came on.

Djenepo has been busy too since coming on. He at least looks up for it. despite the predictament.

Christ, we went from having a player in their box facing their goal with an opportunity to shoot to passing back to the CBs and giving it away.

And that must be what they are being coached to do.

All over.

Rancid, boring and pathetic, but still better than expected.

Thanks Ralph, it's been fun at times but enough is enough.

Let's hope the new manager can gel this lot into a team. He's got his work cut out.

Liam Delap scores. Tella did too. And Broja.

Delp cant score so no loss IMO. Tella is learning so good, Broja is too expensive. None would have scored for us today. You actually have to get the ball up the pitch to score

It's OK, we have Adams and his eight goals a season.

Fair play to the saints fans that are up there.

Finished 4-0 because man city were in training mode for much of it. Clear we never had any belief in getting a result today, maybe the intent was only ever to limit the battering.

In isolation, a 4-0 defeat away to Man City will be about par for most teams in the league this season, but doesn't mask the underlying issues.

Yep, this forward line is going to get us relegated.

It’s not just about today is it, we’ve scored 8 fucking goals this season.

I didn't expect much today but I expected us to create a lot more than we did. Very dissapointing. Too open especially in the wide areas.

Blimey. Really felt like we went into this one with no confidence at all.

At least we're the first team in months to keep Haaland down to one goal, and we're having a better day than Putin?

Loss wasn't unexpected, to say the least, but there's a fair bit of pressure on the next couple of games now. Hopefully we can find some of the aggression we had between the Leeds and the Chelsea games.

People say our problem is no striker. But I think it's the midfield. We REALLY miss Romeu.  And Romeo.  With Stu Armstrong and JWP just a tad below their best, our traditional strength of winning back the ball relentlessly and blocking most attacks has ebbed.   Still, it wasn't really a humiliation today, and I still think we'll end up fine for the season. We'll get a much better sense next Sunday......
