Always been a Ralph fan but you can't lose to three terrible teams in a row like this, on top of the dreadful performances beforehand. Some absolutely awful finishing costs us the most today but it's still another loss.

Changed players, changed staff, time to change the manager. Continue coasting like this and we're gone.

Bad result this one. City away next, confidence is low, 6pointer to Everton potentially and certainly points we needed that have been dropped.

Team selection was poor and the first half was appalling on the whole. Defence imploded after we scored.

I do also think there was too much hype over the transfer window signing nippers that had no mens football experience, Everton strengthened without obsessing about sell on value and you can see they knew what they were doing.

That's 3 games in a row now where the opposition has been there for the taking and we've just pissed it away through our own ineptitude and defensive frailty.

I really hope SR have been working hard in the background to find a replacement for Ralph, because I really think he is a busted flush now. Just no ideas left and not the slightest clue how to manage this team to get points from winnable games.

Tear up his fucking playbook. Get players passing and moving, ball on the deck and play between the lines. Move the ball forward quickly and cut out all the negative backward and sideways passes. Play players in their correct positions. It's not rocket science but he makes it seem soooooo complicated.

Fans aren't exactly helping. Even when we scored there was no atmosphere.

There was a bit before half time when I swear no one was even watching the game and everyone was just sat around chatting like they were at the cricket or something.

Anything less than 3 points and I would expect a hastily called board meeting for 1730.

Less than an hour or so is my guess.

Hopefully somebody is preparing the boardroom as we speak.

The gamble did not pay off. It was bold and I have the feeling that was his last throw of the dice. I think it would be a good time to make a change, as I feel we have gone backwards in the last 3 games.

It’s a shame the Poch is well out of our reach, but with what we are ‘trying’ to achieve in the way we want to play, our young team and the way Poch likes to encourage academy players, I think he would be a great fix, but cannot see us pulling that one off.

Make the change now, but do not replace until after City away. City away can be a free shot, nothing to lose, and then bring in the new manager on the Sunday or Monday.

I am very sad that the manager we have had for nearly 4 years cannot move us forward and the last year we have stalled massively.

What happened to the team that beat Chelsea ?

Lavia got injured, and our genius squad planning never thought we might need more than one midfielder who can actually tackle.

Games are won and lost in the midfield - and we don't have one.

Letting Romeu leave was monumentally dim. Amateur hour.

That went exactly as I predicted. Just need the cult of Ralph to spout the usual crap.

also, we sure as shit have not become more solid at the back.

£70m on new players, nothing has changed

But why drop Salisu who was developing a solid partnership with ABK. Why play a kid at left back when Djenepo has done well there and Perraud is ok? He took out 50% of the back four for no reason.

2 shit teams. Everton slightly less shit.

The goals were all always going to come from bad mistakes and that's what happened with all 3.

We lacked any impetus in the first half, could barely put 3 passes together.

Maitland-Niles looked well off the pace which is maybe why he hasn't started yet. Add in an insipid performance from Ward Prowse and it's no surprise we lost because the midfield was so poor.
