stevy777_x Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 What is Bazunu doing for both goals? doesn t come out for first goal and beaten at his near post for the second. Not impressed at all
Sheaf Saint Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Utterly fucking pathetic defending for both goals. Another tactical shambles. Got to tighten up after getting that first goal and no concede immediately. But to give away two goals like that in quick succession after finally breaking the deadlock is nothing short of embarrassing.
nta786 Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 If we lose this I’m not sure I could stomach giving Ralph until the world cup. Would rather just do it tonight, next week is a free hit anyway and let the new manager start with WHU at home.

Chez Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Great strike. If that was McCarthy in goal, "beaten at the near post again" would be posted on here. Adams perhaps should have scored before hand. 3
BotleySaint Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Looks like it's going to be a long season... Squad under resourced. Manager out of ideas. Feels very bleak at the moment. 1
Saint_clark Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 So glad we went for a wonderkid keeper instead of someone with experience. 2 1

saintant Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Maybe we'd have been better off playing out a scrappy 0-0. We poked Everton and they woke up.
Saint NL Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Everton should have had a third. We are all over the place
Bad Wolf Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Anyone calling for Ralph to resign should give their head a wobble. Why on Earth would he?! Calling him for him to be sacked is one thing but this whole "Do the decent thing and resign" always makes me laugh 1 1
Dr Who? Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Thought this was a nailed on 0-0. We need to come from behind to win again.
Saints foreva Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 8/10 transfer window though lads. Joke that we've got Championship shite like Adams playing week in and week out. 3

DT Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 What does Ralph actually do? Seems the most tactically inept person in the league(s)
Saint_clark Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 It's alright though, if Bazunu is out of form an low on confidence we have back up for him in the form of McCarthy. Why oh why didn't we replace both keepers in the summer...
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Surely to fuck he had to going we lose this one?
Saint NL Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 That was awful from Armstrong in an attempt to win a loose ball. Just gave up.
Bad Wolf Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Fans aren't exactly helping. Even when we scored there was no atmosphere. 1 1
OttawaSaint Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 McC would be getting fucking roasted for that. Typical Saints. So easy for the oppo. 1

Saint_clark Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Just now, Bad Wolf said: You aren't seriously suggesting any of those goals were his fault? I'm stating outright that he should have done better for both. We signed him to be a sweeper keeper and yet he couldn't even claim a cross floated into his 6 yard box, and a top level keeper shouldn't be getting beaten regularly at his near post - that's 3 he's conceded already. 1

He has been treated much better than any other manager in the league for much longer than any other club would have done. 3
SNSUN Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Wolves, Villa, Everton. 3 teams we should be getting points from if we want to stay in this league. Ralph has to go but even a new manager would have a job on his hands with this squad. 9 games (10 if you include Brentford potentially) until the transfer window but we could well be bottom 3 by then.
DT Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Sean Dyche. At least he knows how to pick a team and defend. That’s two things Ralph has never known. We need a period of boring but staying up.

Agree, they should be calling for manager and CEO’s head as would be the case at any club of similar size and stature. Last 30 or so games on a par with Pellegrino and worst of Branfoot era - and I was old enough to remember that. Difference was we had a fanbase with some backbone to stand up to the people running the club back then. 2
RedArmy Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 We are a poorly coached team from front to back. How much longer are the owners going to persist with this clown?
trousers Posted 1 October, 2022 Posted 1 October, 2022 Good move. Decent strike from Adams but few feet wide

Maybe more a case of it would be the honourable thing to do in the circumstances but we know you won't do it.
