Not me honest lol. I see he also reported that Ounahi was linked with a 35m move to Bournemouth so wouldnt treat what he says as gospel.

If we're serious about pushing on under SR we need to replace/move on the likes of Djenepo, Diallo, Moi and AA. And we're making all the right noises in the window so far

I scanned his twitter posts - it's an almost endless stream of incorrect transfer `news'.

I was just thinking about the mystery striker, and came up with Valentin Castellanos, currently on loan at Girona. If you scroll through the flights, there is one from Girona airport on Monday

He plays for New York, so is part of the CFG group, Man City, so given Southampton had City staff he might be on their radar. He's a striker, good with both feet and in the air, also good off the ball. Girona are linked through Romeu, could be 10-12 million. Argentinian too. Currently linked with a move to Brighton.

Just a thought anyway

The "Sports Journalist, presenter, occasional writer" Andy Turnswood (that's not you is it?) suggests Djenepo is going out on loan to Watford until end of season, with £8m option to buy.

Does Andy turnswood have links with Nottingham forest???

I looked him up on YouTube and all I learnt was that the MLS is still a pretty shit league.

Saints had a young centre back coming through in the youth team at that time, Reuben Bamboola.

Remember the first time I saw him play, Man United had a star striker and he marked him out the game Frank Mapleton never got a kick that day

I think they said it was a Piper 320. The registration was OYBTC if that helps. It was a six seater. Coming back from Sønderborg once there was a problem with the autopilot and I flew it through the cloud on instruments for an hour or so whilst our colleague, the pilot was upside down under the dashboard trying to fix it.

It was a 1977 PIPER PA32R Cherokee Lance, retractable version of the PA32 Cherokee Six. Both six seaters with 300hp engine. I hope you had plenty of Instrument flying experience because most untrained pilots get disorientated and lose it within minutes. I'm surprised at the pilot pissing around when the thing to do was fly the aircraft manually. I once got disoriented over the North Sea from Norwich to Stavanger single pilot carrying a load of explosives for an oil company in the middle of the night. I was at 10000 feet looking over the side at a vast fishing fleet showing white lights, I then looked up at the sky more white stars as it was crystal clear.I looked down again at the white lights and suddenly I didn't know which was up or down. Being an experienced instrument pilot I focussed on the instruments and flew on not looking down again until well clear of the lights. Never ever forgot though.

I wonder if Rasmus is like this if his wife sends him shopping

wife “ Rasmus I have a really painfull headache can you get me some paracetamol from the chemist”
Rasmus returns with 3 bottles of bleach, two toothbrushes and a packet of plasters as they were on offer. :)

On  todays rumours I do think the mvididi at least looks better then Jackson he seems more direct and actually skins players pretty well.. whilst with Jackson his dribbling does not look clean and looks more like he gets lucky deflections of the oppositions legs when getting past them ..don’t like the look of Jackson at all tbh some of his shooting looks worse then ches I’d be surprised if he’s on djenepo or redmond level and I hated redmond ..

can’t see what’s so bloody hard with filling the priority position first we were hoping for a striker at the start of the window but it’s looking like it’s going the same way as the last window and we buy everything but that :(

Ah, thanks. I looked it up some time ago and think it has now been scrapped. No training at all. I did take the controls once for a transfer from Padborg and did a landing approach right up to the touchdown.

The aircraft had been sitting on the apron overnight and it was a very grey, craggy day and Jens said that the autopilot always played up under those conditions. It wasn’t too difficult, just keep the altitude within tight limits and keep the heading steady on that green marker. Jens was upside down with his legs over the back of his seat and my business partner who was sitting behind tapped me on the shoulder and said “Who’s flying the plane?” I just smiled and said, “I am”,  at which he nodded somewhat nervously.

He later said that this was the only time that he had been scared of flying.

We suddenly flew into clear air somewhere over northern Germany. An incredible sight with a vertical bank of solid cloud behind us and a carpet down below. Apparently we had just flown out of a weather front.

Jens later sold his electronic display business and owns and operates Air Alsie. He is still based at Sønderborg airport. His mother (!) Monika is a stewardess in his corporate jets.

I didn't understand any of this interaction at all, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

He's made 33 Appearances for Villarreal and only got 3 goals

Sounds like he'd fit in perfectly!

On reading that I had the thought of the old comedian Mike Reid (RIP) reworking one of his catch phrases : “ pro - liff - fick !” , said without a hint of sarcasm of course.

From the 1970’s in case anyone wonders.

Always fishing in the same pond as us. Forest are linked with everybody ffs, would love to see them go down as they would be fucked

Forest signing all and sundry. The way they’re conducting things I reckon they could end up signing a couple of players already on their own books without realising.

Shame we can’t just sign someone like this bloke and announce it rather than having it in the media for a while.

Have to wonder though  if our interest is just leaked to stir up the pond a bit by agent or his club.

£10m plus his wages sounds reasonable to get the goals we need… Bring him home Saints!

His wages will be sizeable and he’ll only come here if we can give him a decent contract. If he comes here, doesn’t do much and we go down, he could become something of a financial burden which we may struggle to offload.
