Would rather the other 2 you mentioned tbh.

I really think we need something different up front. It's soul destroying seeing Adams squander chances in the manner he does every week.

Aribo apparently at a transfer crossroads about whether he should leave this month acc to 'Southampton FC Update' citing Daily Record. I think he's been bang average after an exciting start. Looks like he doesn't give a toss.

As I understand it, Daily Record have read Jones' comment about 'not wanting passengers hanging around' and have tagged Aribo with that brush, even planning a loan and expecting us to fund half his wages. However, this afternoon Jones has said he didn't mean Aribo and he would get more chances. Hopefully he will put in more intensity when he gets his chance.

Yes, these 3. Up the offers for Sulemana and Hjulmand (especially) and we should get them. Antonio may prove more tricky as Moyes now saying he wants Antonio to stay and fight for his place. Antonio may need to rebel on TDD, then we could swoop.

I think Antonio may be a difficult one now Ings is injured again, as they are back to square one. If he was fit, Antonio is a peg down the ladder, but they may still see him as being needed

Fair enough. I'd have liked to have seen us try.

With Ings injured and Scamacca injured, and their league position, there is no chance theyd have sold to another prem club right now IMO.

Bournemouth have just signed that fella from Bristol city we were meant to be in for. Such a difficult window we tried hard, did all we could etc etc

Klopp not ruled out Nat Phillips leaving Anfield. Stranger things have happened. Weren't we interested before?

I'd take Sulemana and Hjulmund. But with the condition that we give Mara an extended run up top.

If there is enough creativity behind him, I back him to score the chances Che can't. He has a decent scoring record in his limited career and if given the right service I think he could come good yet.

By all accounts and some research, Sulemana makes things happen. NJ might describe him as an aggressive forward-thinking player.

I also signed Hjulmund as a midfield enforcer in an FM save as Kalmar FF in 2028 and he was fab so obvs I want him in.

Already signed for Bolton, our top target gone, FFS Saints.

I saw Jerome a fair bit for Norwich. From his lonely spot up front, he could just about see his midfield support in the distance.

Playing for Luton and Göztepe would have been the ideal NJ/SR combo. But he also played for Stoke, so NJ wouldn't have wanted a reminder. 🙂

Is Hjalmund a striker or midfielder? I’ve seen very differing reports saying he is both 😂

I suppose whatever he is he’s an improvement!

Defensive midfielder from what I've read.

I'm still hoping Beto or Onuachu are the striker targets we are looking at in addition to Sulemana and Hjulmand.

Beto rumoured at €30m seems unlikely.  Not sure that Sulemana is what we need currently, another young player with pace. Great in getting upfield at breakneck speed but then what ? Another attack fizzles out whilst he waits for reinforcements to arrive in the box, or for Che to sidefoot it to their GK.

We should get our slightly worse doctors to run the rule over him and offer 10mill

I thought it was a province in Afghanistan, one of the few places Nathan felt was aggressive enough for his playing style. 🙂

Rasmus is in fact baldrick, he has a cunning plan to destroy our rivals budgets.

Leak ings and west ham buy him and he gets injured wasting their budget for Jan.

Mention interested in Jackson and put bid in, drag it out not expecting to sign him but knowing bournemouth want him and increase the amount they have to spend before then find out at the end of it he's mr glass.

Meanwhile we are balling out securing out preferred players and are closing them out now.

To be fair i honestly dont think we will, I just feel we are on the cusp of a major upturn (probability says it has to happen).

You’re not alone. I’ll raise you and predict that we will beat Newcastle 2 v 1.

God is our new striker. That’s why we were kicking it towards heaven so often vs Forest…

Except we don’t need hjulmand as we have lavia jwp Alcaraz and diallo

and sulamana is a winger and not a striker

don’t see Antonio happening way too old for us

apart from that great ideas :)

Lavia isn't playing more than 60 minutes per game at the moment, and we're almost certain to lose him in the summer whether we stay up or go down. Diallo is as a nuisance, but a massive MASSIVE step down in quality from Lavia, particularly in terms of keeping what tiny percentage of possession we have in game these days.

Hjulmand, a winger and a striker on loan is the absolute best we can expect at this point, which means it's almost certain that none of those will happen. But eh, at least we managed to add a right back with the worst passing stats in the championship to the squad.

Allegedly Sulamana can play and has played across the front 3 so while not an out and out striker he fits the bill that the club are looking for? Apart from that great response. 😉

Lavia is currently a sixty minute player. I'm not sure I'd want to rely on him for the rest of the season in the scrap ahead. JWP for all his talents isn't physical enough as a DM. Both JWP and Alcaraz look like more attacking players. Diallo ? Well he's just had his good game for the season. Again not really physical enough for DM. If Hjulmand can operate there effectively then he's ideal..
