Not that they have been bad or anything but imagine if we gad a real left back and two quality AMs to replace Djenepo, AA and Moi.

To be fair to Djenepo, he’s so far had an excellent game. He’s defended well but has obviously been given instruction to not bomb forward too much. Armstrong has also looked quite lively. Moi has been anonymous again.

5 seconds injury time.

Half time, not too bad. Fortunate with the goal mouth scramble, but ABK should have scored.

Can definitely get all three points here..

Too many threads about the game, didnt know where to post.

Our CBs are monsters, I dont know what Moi is offering us down the right side if Arma and djnepo can work on the left I would of thought we could of had armstrong as he at least has more pace.

Adams getting into the CBs, Aribo not in the game at the moment and Lavia a rolls royce.

A very encouraging half.

These youngsters are absolute units. Very strong, intelligent, do not look at all phased.

Full blooded and seemingly well organised. Delighted so far.

Mara to come off the bench to score the winner?

They had the best chance but saints had more.

Lovely ball from elyounessi, pity Adams couldn't wrap his foot around it. Equally I think Armstrong should have been expecting the ball to get to him and should have done better.

We have definitely made a conscious effort to limit our energy output in the first half. There was a noticeable increase in effort after half an hour, and hopefully that bodes well for the second half.

Moi did play that superb through ball for adams to scuff , so hadn’t been completely anonymous..

bella kotchup and lavia both looking more and more superb every game you see them, think abk looks better then salisu already tbh.

Almost prefer getting battered than this kind of display that gives me hope.

You know one piece of skill from these cnuts will undo everything.

Fair play to Saints. We are still in this.

Not a particular fan of moi but seems biased to ignore his beautiful through ball to Adams.

Their attack is possibly more blunt than ours! Apart from the flurry of blocks and save they haven’t done a lot going forwards although they’ve had the bulk of possession. ABK has probably been the best player on the pitch bar maybe Eriksen.

I’d still definitely take a draw here but it could go either way.

As usual he's been inconsistent, but his ball control is at times superb. Worth his starting place, especially as it means the players coming on are more likely to improve the performance if his slips.

Hard to call which way this will go. Hopefully we can put them under more pressure because I'm not sure they're that good defensively. I guess it depends how brave we want to be because pushing on will obviously leave us vulnerable on the counter.

Saints have done well but I feel like Man United haven’t yet got themselves out of first gear. Expecting a sterner test of it second half, hopefully our lads can pinch a goal and hold strong at the back.
