Chewy Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Will the opposition field a full-strength team? You’d imagine all they want this season is promotion so I doubt they’ll risk anyone with a niggle. Hope it’s a good test and a comfortable win. And like a lot of the above I’m hoping to see 1 or 2 youngsters at some point tonight

Totton Saint Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 I would not be surprised if JWP is given a rest. He misses Romeo. 2

saintant Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Confusing line up. What is the formation going to be? Who will play right back?

Baird of the land Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Why are we playing a cb at rib rather than our academy product. Is Ballard injured or has he just been rewarded for doing well last time by not even being involved.
disconnect Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Is that Nico(?) Lawrence, the centre back we signed from a non-league team sometime in the last year? ABK, Lavia and Adams all just being rested to not risk knocks before Liverpool? Good to see Edozie and Mara starting.

Disappointed to see that Ballard isn't involved - would have preferred to see him on the bench over Moi or Walcott.

Master Bates Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 So pumped up for tonight with Selles in charge. Should have sacked Ralph either after Man City or Crystal Palace and given Selles a chance with a run of 6 or 3 games to see what he could do, but hey we didn't, still looking forward to see what Nathan Jones can do though. The tactical skillful Selles and the man manageable Jones. The futures bright, the futures red and white (unless you're colour blind, then I wouldn't know, sorry). 1 1
SNSUN Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 (edited) It's an interesting line up, not least because it looks quite attacking and I'm interested to see how Edozie and Mara get on. It looks like it could be fluid with a 4 (Lyanco and Djenepo as full backs) or 3 at the back with Djenepo rwb and perhaps Edozie as lwb? We shall see but a win would really bring a bit of positivity around the place, even if it is against League 1 opposition. Edited 9 November, 2022 by SNSUN Meant League One... me tired.
Chez Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Great to see Jimmy Jay in the squad. He scored goaLs while away on England duty and is brimming with confidence. This next batch of kids may actually be the real deal. 1

JamiSaint Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Are there any streams for the game? Thanks!
Master Bates Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 I was just about to moan about that (streams, lakes, rivers). Why not us?
Mixedkebab Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Think Ralph would’ve got some stick for this selection 1

Archers Road Stand Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Sounds like Sheff Wednesday are dominating based on what Sky are saying. Saints fans chanting we're going down. Shambles of a club.

I would've gone but don't live locally 1
CB Fry Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Who is in charge tonight? Ruben Selles? Eriquo Negro more like.
redkeith Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 No updates on club website, no commentary, no streams. It is like being in the age of ceefax. 1 nil down to Wed's before we have even had a shot ffs

Lallana's Left Peg Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 Disgraceful in possession. Absolutely shocking. Lack of leadership, ideas, quality, and no confidence as well. Jones better hope fixing leadership, ideas and confidence makes a difference because the ability of some on the pitch won't cut it.
Dan Johnson Posted 9 November, 2022 Posted 9 November, 2022 I can almost hear the PE teacher shouting at those 3 defenders “stop bunching” 1
