What’s happened to the new big screens we bought for the start of last season?

last I heard they needed to do repair work as it had rained on the roof since the stadium was built, so they missed the target of the start of last season. 
 

But still no sign of them yesterday.

Based on previous posts on here over the last few months, my understanding it's that the replacement has been deferred to the World Cup break due to the discovery that the roof requires reinforcement.

Correct. The screens are / were too big for the roof to hold. 

I’m not sure if or when the reinforcements are planned but from what I hear, it’s not a cheap process.

I wonder what they mean by "transform the look and feel of St Mary’s Stadium" will it be a lick of paint or something more large scale (which is actually needed)

Im watching the Giro and couldn’t understand why there was a post about cycling here.

Rasmus is expediting this so he can test out his ground-breaking subliminal messaging theory in the Championship (which we are lucky to be in...).  Throughout each game a picture of his face will appear for a millisecond followed by second frame which alternately states 'football genius' or 'goldmine effect'.  He oversaw the installation of similar screens on Dragan Solak's yacht during 2021.

For an idea of what they will look like, I imagine they'll be very similar to this (so we can look even more like Leicester City's stadium!)

It's always puzzled me why they show adverts during the game. I can't imagine anyone watching them.

Although going by the quality of the footy recently maybe they're the more entertaining option.

Nah, I reckon Wout Van Aert would be a better signing. He could probably play anywhere.
