Entries must be received by 10pm BST on Tuesday 16th August and one lucky winner will be drawn at random. Please note that we can only ship to the UK on this occasion.

Francis Benali: Football Man to Iron Fran is also available in all good bookshops, and probably some mediocre ones as well. :toppa:

I wonder if it will be in the shop run by the tattooed freak with the bell.

Damn - I was just round the corner from there yesterday afternoon, I could have gone in and asked whilst trying not to smirk.
That said, despite being an object of all our mirth he does run that shop with the same passion he supports his team - so I think I would be heading out the door faster than I went in: as I wouldn’t have been the first “comedian”

Does that mean he's banned from his parents' bookshop as well then?

Just finished reading this. Really enjoyed it. As someone who sadly wasn’t old enough to witness Franny playing, it was incredibly enlightening.

His experience of Cortese, all his fundraising and the work he has done since playing was equally, if not more, fascinating.

A truly top bloke.

Best to have avoided this place during that time, there were far too many wallies on here who threw Franny under the bus in favour of Cortese through what was his abysmal worst behaviour.

And from Southampton - should be in the legend status.
