Gordon Mockles Posted 25 January, 2009 Posted 25 January, 2009 You'd have to ba a sandwich short of a picnic not to know the answer to that one already Good point. I think I was being ever so slightly rhetorical there!!
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 So - have the Echo got balls - over to you Adam/Simon?
slickmick Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 If we fail to sell any players before the transfer window closes, where does that leave the club financially?
tulip Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Rupert, do you think your presence has a negative effect on home gates? probably 5-6,000
saint1977 Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 If the Echo don't give the board a very hard time today, Saints fans should boycott the paper until it does. Unlike boycotting one of the nationals, this would really hurt the paper and force it to change it's tune.
Victor Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 My third Most of the board will probably speak to there wifes and partners when they get home each night, BLIMEY, ARE ALL THE BOARD MEMBERS BIGAMISTS? trousers Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 So - have the Echo got balls - over to you Adam/Simon? Why aren't the local media asking these questions?
Fitzhugh Fella Posted 26 January, 2009 Author Posted 26 January, 2009 Why aren't the local media asking these questions? Petrified of Lowe and his team of lawyers I'm afraid.
saint1977 Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Petrified of Lowe and his team of lawyers I'm afraid. They're also p!ss poor journalists that are too lazy to do any research. Solent have been quite happy to do a bit more digging.
CanadaSaint Posted 26 January, 2009 Posted 26 January, 2009 Petrified of Lowe and his team of lawyers I'm afraid. All they had to do was ask some questions - not level accusations. That shouldn't get them sued. Are they afraid of losing access? Or simply gutless?

Or simply gutless? Both. That said, the parent company were rumoured to be looking at redundancies so perhaps none of the hacks want to put themselves on the line - I'm not saying that's right by the way.
