Taking the Knee

There will be a think tank group out there right now debating what political message they can shoehorn into the space that the kneeling leaves behind.

Give it two weeks, and some shadowy organisation will start to monetize the good will opportunity.....like the BLM movement did.

Sorry, forgot to start with a trigger warning! 🤣

Does this mean football is now racist again? Or that racism has been solved?

anyone?

No Batman/Delldays/Jamie, football is STILL racist, as is society, everyone is racist except me. You need to do more to resolve this. I know you and your little group of Tommy Robinson fanactics think the problem is over but whilst there is still discrimiation towards BAME people then it sends out the wrong message to the world. You all need to do more to end racism, so depressing, Katy Hopkins has won here. Football has gone back to the dark ages today.

Yours

Outraged of Romney Marsh.

Common sense prevails (conveniently before the hypocrites play out the World Cup in the bastion of inclusivity and human rights that is Qatar)

Taking the knee was and is directly linked to the now discredited Black Lives Matter movement, it serves no place in our culture and it serves no place in football.

Maybe you missed the bit where it will be back for Boxing Day - conveniently just after the world cup in Qatar...

Taking the knee was virtue signalling of the highest order, BLM has been proven to be a dodgy, corrupt organisation. Maybe they will now do something to highlight the Slave labour used to build the Qatari World Cup stadiums, or the men who are murdered just for being gay in said country.

I wouldn't hold your breath.

Zaha said he wouldn’t carry on taking the knee as he was still being abused . So what do you experts suggest would be a suitable response to racism in football (besides from denying it exists like climate change or has been caused by covid vaccinations or is a deep state conspiracy ) ?

Wilfried Zaha: Crystal Palace forward will stop taking the knee before matches - BBC Sport

that wasn't the reason at all.

ah poor old aintclever, stopped crying yet?

Crying with laughter at how angry you bellends got about a harmless gesture you mean.

I’m surprised they carried on with it last year to be honest, obviously the longer it went in the more pointless it got. I’m just glad you guys don’t have anything to get angry about now.

Who got angry? Certainly not me, i'm not the one repeatedly calling people bellends and then finding out i agree with them, is that the third time this week you've done that?
