Turkish Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 Everton have only won one in 31 away games. We all know who that was against 🤦♂️ 1
OldNick Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 Rangers defender must be watching Jan and CC. So worried he may have his hair out of place he missed it for Celtic to score. Pathetic
Chris cooper Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 Boscombe wet spam and wolves all winning at the break .. forest drawing
Baird of the land Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 Need either a big upset against City or a much better set of results at full time. Ideally both
OldNick Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 Not good at present. Fulham not helping us the last week

OttawaSaint Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 Now 3 separate games that WHU have benefitted from handling the ball and VAR being asleep.

Sheaf Saint Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 Looking on the bright side - Everton, Forest and Leicester all losing is good at least. I mean, not that it matters in the long run cos we ain't gonna beat Man City and we still ain't gonna stay up, but still.
Turkish Posted 8 April, 2023 Posted 8 April, 2023 If Leeds win tomorrow then the bottom 4 are cut adrift. if you’re on 30 points or more with 8 left then you’d have to really mess up to go down 1

I look at teams like Bournemouth and think “yeah they’ll go” then see that they have thirty points, you’d probably expect teams on those sort of points around this point of the season to pick up maybe another 7-10 points. They’re probably ok. They have fight in them. 1

Technically ABK and Salisu may be better players than Stephens, but he has no lack of desire and passion. Maybe we would have been better off keeping him. His performances could help keep up a relegation rival at our expense. 2

Pamplemousse Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Michael Salisbury was the VAR, so no surprises, he's the worst referee in the league.

Plus the shirt pull at the end. Also the first handball, looks like his shoulder to me, thought the rule was the shirt sleeve? And the other one did all He could to get out of the way. Really harsh on Brighton Edited 9 April, 2023 by Turkish
obelisk Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Palace concede to a header from an actual centre forward. Any lessons to be learned for next week? 1

FarehamSaintJames Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Leeds are actually looking very impressive. The pressing, the aggression, just players with actual ability and graft in them. Celebration of the goal with Javi Gracia and his coaching team. 4

obelisk Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Saints would be advised to try and stop those Palace crosses coming in next week. Let's hope Roy's boys start to think they're on the beach.

FarehamSaintJames Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Wow, what a turnaround for Palace, 4-1! Leeds could’ve scored five or six in the first fifteen minutes. Sums them up this season, not scoring their chances.

That's even without Zaha.
woodsaint1 Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Teams like Palace, West Ham, Wolves etc I expected to get out of it with the attacking options they have. Night and day compared to our options. Starting to look like 2 from Leicester, Forest, Leeds, Everton and Bournemouth (to go with us)
FarehamSaintJames Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Palace are a good side. A bit like us they’ve always missed a striker, but their three behind the striker make all the difference, plus their defence is largely solid.

FarehamSaintJames Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Scousers getting restless. All that said it’s just nice to watch two games consecutively where all four teams have a bit of fight.
Jimmy_D Posted 9 April, 2023 Posted 9 April, 2023 Blimey, probably be a while before we see that lino officiating again.
