cloggy saint Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Just now, DT said: Told you. So obvious. I said they’d beat arsenal and Liverpool and be fine. He was the clear obvious choice. Maybe he didn’t fancy it but hiring Jones above him is mystifying. At least I win at the bookies Pretty sure games last 90 minutes. 2
SaintZamboni Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 I could see this Dyche style working now that we have a presence up top. Press hard, move it wide and whip it in. Doesn’t work well when your striker isn’t physical.

Dyche had been there less than a week. Let that sink in. 5

Winnersaint Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Got to love a new manager bounce! Oh..........!
OttawaSaint Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 If that was Saints they'd be running to the VAR screen, wanking all the way... 1
OttawaSaint Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Don't worry lads, Genius Jones will cheer us up with a cracking lineup, tactics and formation...oh wait 3
JRM Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Arsenal look nothing special, despite their lead can't see them winning the league

S-Clarke Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 (edited) Arsenal have been disappointing today, sloppy on the ball and too slow in their build up. Played into Everton's hands really and has allowed them to really dig in with their low block. This is the sort of game you win if you're going to win the league, looks like it's City's to lose based on this. Edited 4 February, 2023 by S-Clarke

adrian lord Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Everton and Dyche are more bad news for us.

JRM Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 This Everton with Dyche will stay up and win enough home games

LeBizzier69 Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Watching that, Everton will end up mid table I expect.
Jimmy_D Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 That’s only the second game Arsenal have lost this season, it certainly wasn’t all down to Dyche and Everton today.

64saint Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Wolves 2. Liverpool 0. Latest. ☹️. Is this one of those days when other results are going against us.
Saint86 Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Sean Dyche showing just what a class manager he is. Lucky we played them before he was appointmed.
FarehamSaintJames Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Wolves winning. Villa winning. Everton beat Arsenal. We sit 1-0 down to Brentford with a below par manager. How’s everyone feeling?

beatlesaint Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Spare a thought for Willo on Radio Solent, he sounds like someone just shot his Mrs, his kids, the dog, the cat and then stole his razor blades and bottle of whisky !!! 1
DT Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Jones: "I've let everyone down because I was brought in to drive the standards & that wasn't good enough today. I've allowed certain things to happen & gone away from what's made me successful in the past." #saintsfc @paulbelvers if he means we lost because we forced him into four at the back he can just fuck off now 1
adrian lord Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Sky commentary team sound catatonic that Newcastle have gone in level at half-time, rather than running away with it according to the script.
The Cat Posted 4 February, 2023 Posted 4 February, 2023 Swansea 3-4 Birmingham must be game of the day. Birmingham with a 90th minute equaliser and a 97th minute winner. Mental. 1

FarehamSaintJames Posted 5 February, 2023 Posted 5 February, 2023 Watch Leeds beat Forest this afternoon and pull away from us in the league.
OttawaSaint Posted 5 February, 2023 Posted 5 February, 2023 (edited) Forest 1 up and looking to move well clear of relegation. Could have been us if we had got in somone decent instead of cuntchops rarebit... Edited 5 February, 2023 by OttawaSaint 2
obelisk Posted 5 February, 2023 Posted 5 February, 2023 Forest / Leeds all a bit park-style kick and rush. Wouldn't fancy fragile Saints against either of them mind.
SNSUN Posted 5 February, 2023 Posted 5 February, 2023 Results went against us this week, especially as we lost. We can't rely on anyone else to keep us up bar ourselves. Which will ultimately be our downfall. A couple of weeks ago I said if you offered me 38 points I'd take it with bells on. Now I'd take 35 and just cross my fingers. But I'd surprised if we even hit 30. What a shitty season this has been... and annoyingly had we stayed up this season I think we'd now be in very good shape for a Prem campaign next season. Sods law. Instead we'll be in the Championship without our crown jewels. 2
Turkish Posted 5 February, 2023 Posted 5 February, 2023 We are without doubt the worst team in the premier league. 3
whelk Posted 5 February, 2023 Posted 5 February, 2023 All the earnest bs about concussion has led to shitehouses just conveniently collapsing. Hojberg just falling on floor when ball hits head in a wall. The you get the bollocks spouted ‘you can’t be too careful with head injuries’ 3
whelk Posted 5 February, 2023 Posted 5 February, 2023 And btw the vast majority don’t give a flying fuck about Kane’s goal scoring. Convenient story the media wets themselves about 1
