I can’t imagine that O’Neil has long left. Bournemouth look just as bad as us.

Be interesting to see who goes first between him and Frank. Franks saving grace is that Everton don’t have a pot to piss in… might just save him.

I know they rested a few but thats a terrible result for Forest. Back to getting pumped away from home again. If only we had've tried to take the game to them 🙃

They changed the whole 11. Bit more than resting a few!

Eddie Howe masterclass with a pretty much full strength team against a League 1 side that couldn't even beat us.

Alright, maybe full strength is a bit of a stretch but they had most of them on for the last 35 minutes..

Can't see Wolves going down - they have some very good players from what I saw tonight against Liverpool.

Yeah thought exactly the same .. they move the ball well .. look decent now ..new manager looks very good tactically.. excellent game management!

Skates are all over a couple of Facebook groups I’m on congratulating themselves on their support today, how we could only dream of support like that.

a lower league club, in a new stadium, hour and half away. You’d think they’d have taken 50000 to Sunderland the way they’re going on.

Wolves must be seething after seeing that goal disallowed.

I'd be seething with the Salah goal not being ruled out, let alone being at one of the biggest stadiums in Europe and not having a VAR camera in the correct position.

It was there but one of the locals had knicked it.

Nauseating isn't it, I actually think Saints taking nearly 4000 to Palace is more impressive, a ground we've played at a million times in a lunchtime 3rd round game , train strike etc.

Lovely. Another Prem side out. Wednesday fought hard. Newcastle bombarded them late on.

Going to be almost half the Premier league out by the 4th round, good to see, fingers crossed we get a kind draw

very nauseating and a bit weird. Any chance to tell anyone how great they are and they’re all over it.

Just seen the clip, still not sure why it was ruled out........

The lino ruled that the player who had taken the corner was coming back from an offside position. Without any video to verify or over-rule it his decision stood.

That’s what happened, but my concern is that after the ball is in the net the assistant can put his flag up if he thinks the player was offside on the understanding that VAR will allow the goal if he is wrong. This means that he is more likely to flag thinking that there is going to be another check in his decision.

Not having proper coverage so that VAR can play its role is ridiculous. And at Anfield too.

Alternatively, the system did it's job and ensured that Liverpool didn't lose.

But there was video evidence to over-rule. The ball never went forward to the player who crossed the ball so he could never be offside no matter where he was standing.

Just in case some don't understand what I'm saying. There are two things that need to happen to be offside, first you have to be in an offside position and second the ball has to be played forward. I haven't anything that suggest either of those two happened!

You might very well think that.

I couldn’t possibly comment 🙄

They desperately need to ensure Man Utd and Liverpool make it as far as possible in the competition to keep viewing figures high and therefore advertising revenue

Wasn’t the ball played out wide off a Wolves’s player ?

I think the decision was that he had 'come back from an offside position', so benefitted from having been offside as the ball was played. The fact that the ball did not go forwards is irrelevant, it is the player's position at the moment the ball is touched that counts..
