BHA thought they'd got it back to 3-4 but offside. It was offside by current rules but an utter farce. Offside wasn't implemented for situations like that.

What on earth are you on about.

Situations, as in the bloke was offside?

Offside wasn’t implemented for offsides 😂

It seems players who score own goals often score one at the right end later on, so put money on him doing that in the second half!

That reminds me, Chris Nicholl once scored all 4 goals in a 2-2 draw (when playing for Villa).

Should've put money on JWP scoring in the second half today.

Aston Villa enjoying the result of appointing a top level manager. We were level on points with them when he was appointed, now 9 points and 8 places behind.

Are there still loads of fawning Conte fan boys? Ruining Any entertainment and they are now not getting results

can't stand the little rat faced winey twat. It's a beautiful sight seeing Spurs get thumped with him `patrolling the touchline' complaining about not getting that extra £100m to spend.

They’ve a far far better squad than us, and he’s a step up from Ralph. We were only level with them because of SG uselessness.

When they were absolute pony, we still never got near them earlier in the season.

Big name managers join Wolves and Villa. Results improve.

Shock. 😢

*Underperforming clubs with better players than Saints appoint competent managers. Results improve.

I think if we got a bigger name in that would spark an upturn in training efforts, motivation and what you’d hope - results.

Also who the manager is would have a large effect on how attractive a club is to play for. In our case most definitely.
Players don’t have a dream to play for Saints, but a lot of players would love to play for manager “X” with a good reputation etc.

🤷🏻‍♂️

Forest having a real go at Chelsea now. Wednesday is going to be a tough game.

EDIT: And they've just equalised.

The groundbreaking light show will hopefully unnerve them

Forest very good. Excellent manager. Good players. Superb support.

And only 2 points above the most woeful saints team I’ve ever seen in the top flight. The rest of the league must be fucking unbelievable

They deserve to stay up why exactly??

Because in my opinion they have good support and play good football. Not unreasonable ? We on th other hand are shit, right the way through the club, like letters through a stick of rock. Doesn’t mean I hope that somehow we get a result on Wednesday but it really feels like many seasons of poor decisions have caught up with us now

Plus we've scored more and conceded less, so we must be pretty good too then.

The Portsmouth result is the only one I'm interested in today.

A 3-1 loss at home to the only team in the league with worse form which included a red card for Pompey and them rounding off the match by scoring a 94th minute own goal.

Maybe our support would be better if people like you bothered going to games.

Yep hes doing fantastic after being backed to the hilt with 30 signings and about 170 million spent.

The other promoted clubs have barely spent and are looking down on Forest (and us)

Watched the game with a Forest supporting relative, they seem weirdly cocky about how good they are and really fancy their chances to stay up,  maybe its a hangover from buzz getting promoted last season but a complete contrast from Saints fans mindset

Lens beating PSG 2-1 at half time. They're second with 1 loss this season. Play with a back three and Kevin Danso is the central centre-back and seems to be rated in France. Perhaps Ross Wilson did identify a good player.

Even by their standards they are particularly shit this season after that good run in Aug/Sep. All of them on Twitter seem to be calling for Cowley to get the boot

Won 3-1. Danso is still only 24 which is still young for a CB. Since he left us he's had a full season in Bundesliga and now playing regularly for a team performing well.

Weird really, as he was totally written off by our expert fans despite only being 20 when we had him and largely playing out of position.

Annoyingly that good start means they are still in touch with the play off places despite their terrible form.

Need them to keep up this winless run for a bit longer so they are properly marooned in mid table.

Luton 3 wins in a row , up to 5th , no manager bounce ?

😂 Amazing, we appoint Jones on the basis that he did such a good job with a small budget at Luton and turns out he was actually holding them back.

Looking at the league if they carry on like this they may actually end up in a relegation fight.

He was an excellent manager before the signings. If anything, he didn't want so many changes, and is doing well blending them all together. Let's see where they are at the end of the season.

Agreed. He can only work with what he’s got, and what he got was a gung-ho chairman who wanted to bring in every player under the sun.

It was always going to take time to blend a team of varying egos together but what he’s got them doing is fighting, that was pretty evident against Chelsea last night.

Big fan of Steve Cooper
