Broja looks to be out for the rest of the season, and possibly more.  Screaming in agony and and carried off on a stretcher during a friendly with Villa.

I bet their amazing fans didn't boo the team off or leave until the end. No doubt they carried on singing until the 90th minute before applauded them off for their efforts on the day.

“this is embarrassing” is more creative than the usual shite they sing. For although the atmosphere at St Mary’s is fairly poor, at least some of us try to get old songs going and we don’t result to singing a bunch of Der Der Ders and Ally Ally Ohs. It’s not just the colour of their kits that Eastleigh and Portsmouth have in common.

Master Bates mentioned Barca but I've not anything else about that or anything else apart from the Bristol City run out. You'd like to think that we've been getting some other proper match action in before the restart.

That video is a great watch, especially the second half when they are getting all annoyed with the ref and the end with all the boos.

Not heard the use of the word dickhead for a while so fair play to that guy in the Fratton End for bringing it back.

Totally baffles me how anyone thought he was a good keeper. He wasn't even that good when he was keeping all those clean sheets, he was just rarely tested. He only ever showed up at Arsenal.

Yeah I don’t know why people didn’t see that. He was getting less than a shot on target per game at one point, so we literally could have played without a GK.

I remember when he went back to Celtic and everyone wet their pants about his ‘return to form’. I worked out he’d concede a goal pretty much every other shot. He was abysmal.

I thought it was just me.

I always though McCarthy and Forster were both as bad as each other however when one was lauded and could never do anything wrong and the other was deemed responsible for every single goal that he conceded even when NO keeper would have stopped it, I just found it absolutely bizarre.

I concur with everything you’ve said.

I initially liked McCarthy because in general, he could do the basics right and got a rougher ride with a poorer DF in front of him. Over time, that changed but he was 100% the lesser of the two evils.

Forster is lacking in about every single department apart from having a massive frame. Which he doesn’t use because he wimps out of most things.

Not much he could do with the first goal: took a big deflection. Bit of a comically, scrappy goal but not goalkeeping howler.

Glad United did the right thing and backed the manager over Ronaldo. As fun as it is seeing the big boys struggle, I would much prefer a league where more than two teams are in the title race.

We've been the worst team in the league so far this season easily, and our only saving grace is that we haven't fallen adrift yet. Only 6 points off 12th place.
