We’d do better with Kim Marsh to be fair.

Leeds have been above us for the entirety of this season, right?

Just won at Anfield and showing more fight than I have seen at saints for a long time

I’ve just heard Marsch told his players to channel that famous Leeds side who came from 3-0 down to beat Redknapp’s Southampton 4-3 in 2005.

“do this for Robbie Blake, David Healy and Neil Sullivan!”, was the cry I believe.

Our manager will tell our players that a club like us will lose 10-15 games a season so nothing to worry about.

Bloody hell Leeds winning now! Back to back wins for them

Lots of pluses for them.  Scoring 4 goals in one game is a pipe dream for us.

Coming from two goals down and winning, showing so fight, scoring goals. All things we don’t seem to be capable of

2-3 Brighton. I’m so grateful we are in the same league as them

I mean, with their 20-goal-a-season striker than we dont have.....

even their recent games, they have put everything on the pitch.  They battered Arsenal but lost (missed penalty etc)

When was the last time we showed fight like that?  been a while

We are pretty low quality wise atm but I did see plenty of fight in the Bournemouth and Arsenal games. Gritty though, not all out attack to go and win games like Leeds have shown this afternoon.

It’s impossible for us to compete with them.

Weird how all the comments are, “I wish we were Leeds/Brighton,” and not, “thank god we aren’t Wolves/Bournemouth.”

no one said I wish we were like leeds

why would you not want to be like Brighton?

Bournemouth that are currently 2 places above us you mean?

wolves just appointed a new manager so let’s reserve judgement

Reasonable set of results for us relegation candidates. If only we were worthy of being in this mighty league rubbing shoulders with the likes of Forest, Wolves, Bmuff, Brentford, Villa, Leeds etc etc eh Semmens?

Excellent day for Sholing down in the lower leagues, 4-0 against 2nd in the league Exmouth and now six points clear at the top with a goal difference miles better than anyone else.

Look the team to beat this season.

Surely, this was not the incident that brought about the winner (penalty) for City?

F-ing ridiculous

That’s a cheap pen that, would be fuming if that was given against us. Also not sure how their keeper didn’t save the pen!

They absolutely pummeled Exmouth. Superb performance, could have scored 6 or 7.

Brad Targett scored an absolutely brilliant goal, won the ball just inside the Exmouth half, beat about 4 players, cut back inside and smashed it in with his weak foot.

One of the positives about the World Cup and no Saints games is the chance to watch Sholing more often.

We're in the bottom three and we're shit.

So whoever the "thank god we aren't [shit team]" is supposed to be in this scenario, it doesn't matter. Because we are them. We are shit.

Obviously we want Saints to win, it’s just such an inane and pointless thing to be saying, “I wish we were -whichever team happens to be winning at the moment-“

Leeds have won two in a row. Brilliant but before that they had two points from eight games.

That’s GotM sorted. Everton look shite.

Absolute belter that. Cushions it to the perfect spot with his knee then volleys it into the top corner giving Pickford no chance.

Into the bottom 3 and two tough games before the World Cup break. Things look pretty bleak right now.

Are we in alphabetically, clutching at straws !
