Still fully expect Forest's form to massively pick up after the world cup. Don't see this lasting all season.

Forest are just biding their time until the January window opens. Then watch them go after signing a few players.

I believe Crocker and Cooper will have worked together previously when part of the England setup, so he'd definitely be on our radar. I, myself am ooing and arring with him. Before this season, I wanted him, if Forest didn't get promoted. He got Forest promoted against the odds and did a very good job at Swansea also. The only glaring thing, is that Forest have conceded 8 more goals than us this season, and we need somebody who can shore up a defence up here. Sometimes the Premier League is one step too far for managers. Although, I'm also pretty sure he himself didn't want two new squads worth of players this summer, not signing any of those they had on loan. Last season he was influential in his one January window with Forest, signing players he knew from the England youth levels in Surridge, Panzo and Davis, while also bringing in the experience of Cook to get them over the line. This summer, from the outside it looks like someone from the top wanted to grab the headlines. You can probably attribute Williams, Henderson, Richards, Toffolo, O'Brien, Lingard and Gibbs-White to Cooper's influence from his Liverpool, England and Championship knowledge. But, I doubt he's looking at players like Aurier and thinking they're up for a Premier League relegation fight.

Yeah, because doing it the previous season is exactly the same as doing so 10 years ago (and failing at other jobs in between).

No because what they've achieved at lower levels means diddly squat when they get to the pressures of the big league. Many examples like Scott Parker, Dean Smith etc. Cooper now has his chance and so far is struggling. If he is sacked this early, he has hardly inspired PL owners to take a chance on him

Why's that?

Because at the moment, they're in the process of working out how each other play and not finding a settled team. As the season goes on, I expect their team to settle down into a first choice XI.  I still think they're favourites for relegation btw, but it certainly would have been nice to play them early on in the season.

Radio chuffed for TAA putting Liverpool ahead, as if scoring somehow balances the poor defensive ability, which is why he's not picked for England.

Similar on BT. Poor old Trent been having a hard time lately, way to answer it is on the pitch etc. good free kick to be fair but the gushing sympathy is pathetic

I’d love to see Napoli win it, such a great style of football I’ve always liked them and it’s a brilliant area, although Roma are my Italian team due to Totti. I think they’ll end up burning out towards the end of the season and get done by one of the harder to beat teams that grind out results but hope I’m wrong.

Yep like the Ajax team a few years back. Be so refreshing if they could do it.

Heard Leeds passed on Kvaratskhelia but don’t know if true.

Posted this before, maybe more than once, but Napoli supporters arriving in Rome is a thing of beauty. Not a foam hand in sight

Great clip that. And this, the original version of this song then nicked by the scousers and passed off as their own thieving scum

I don't think Smallbone is in the future either to be honest. At least he's getting some game time.

I agree, but he managed to keep his place in a stoke team that the much lauded delap got dropped from!

A much lauded Delap that I was keen on us signing this summer. We shall never mention this again... 😂👀

People got far too excited about a kid who hadn't played mens football, and was about 4th pick for the England youth team.

I think I played too much FIFA with him last season... 🤦‍♂️

I swear whoever I buy on FIFA, Saints are linked with/sign the following season or two, been like that for the last six or seven years. The one that didn't fulfil his potential for me was Connor Wickham. 🤣

Ralph needs a complete reset in terms of formation and players - AGAIN. Whatever they worked on in pre-season they ditched after two games.

For £15m I can understand but he would have been our record signing if it’d happened, for a man who’s never played professional, first team football.
