Just when you think things cannot get worse - Blackpool are relegated to League1, I lose a "home" game next season. If Wigan also go down I lose 2.

For most of us though, it’d be quite handy to lose those two and either Udders or Rotherham. Anything to keep us off the M1 and M6 as much as possible.

They will be replaced with trips to Ipswich and Plymouth, plus there is still a possibility of Barnsley or Bolton to go with them.

Shout out to Paul Merson who pre-kick off was saying De Zerbi wasn’t taking European qualification seriously with all these team changes, despite a 120 minute match last week and another game midweek… (three games in six days).

Top work. 🤣

But that’ll be the case regardless of who goes down. If it’s a straight choice out of the current bottom teams, I’d rather Reading stayed up.

Would be hilarious if Brighton and Villa finish 5th and 6th and knock one of Spurs or Liverpool out of European football next season and the other into the Conference League.

Huddersfield v Reading last game of the season could be winner stays up unless Huddersfield get a few points from their next 2 games.

Down in National League South, Weymouth on the verge of one of the greatest escapes. Literally been in the relegation zone all season and looked cut adrift, currently beating Dover which would keep them up on goal difference.

Ipswich securing promotion by walloping Exeter. Had some good away games there before. Smashing them at the start of the Championship season was a great day out and the game with Marsden's goal will always be a memorable one.

Realistically, we want Leeds and forest to come with us.

It’d be typical we drop the same season a club the size of Everton come with us, making next season even harder to come back.

when we went down in 74 Man Utd came with us, they only stayed down a season. They took thousands to away games without tickets. when they came to the Dell there was just a pocket of Saints fans in the Milton. It was bedlam

Don't make the club aware of that, we'll end up having that put on the banners outside the stadium and claims that we had a successful season because of that.

I find myself looking at the Championship table rather than the lower reaches of the EPL all of a sudden. Welcome to next season.

Ipswich 6 up now. Plenty of time left. Double figures on the cards?

Since losing their FACup replay to Burnley in Februaty, if my maths is correct, they are unbeaten, and since 14th Feb have scored 43 whilst conceding 2.

I'd rather Boro or Sunderland won the playoffs personally. That could be six northern teams out both ends of the league for next season, which is handy for the majority of Saints fans.

It really is amazing how Saints haven't been cut totally adrift yet. I await those that will remind us that 4 wins out of five will easily save our souls.

I want Forest to go down as it’s more likely Steve Cooper will be available.

I for one do not want Steve Cooper near this club.
Reading Forest fans opinion paint the image of a manager who makes strange decisions. He apparently fucked their game today by taking their best player off and putting in a defender instead. Result they conceded 2 lates goals. Sounds familiar…

Playing the last ten minutes with ten probably didn't help either

You don’t want a guy whose got an excellent reputation in coaching and improving young players, made the play offs in every season he’s managed in the championship (Forest were bottom when he joined, FYI) and is making a very good fist of keeping Forest in the Prem despite the absolute mental recruitment and strategy they’ve had? Ok then.
