Pickford beaten at his near post, must be Everton fans on their forum moaning about it.

They could be 5-0 down although Sims missed an easy chance at 0-0. That ball in behind Godfrey is on every time

I have seen that Simms play twice, and both times he has been utterly dreadful.

Rangers defender must be watching Jan and CC. So worried he may have his hair out of place he missed it for Celtic to score. Pathetic

Not good at present. Fulham not helping us the last week

I think it's great, until Villa scored a moment ago, Everton were in the drop zone.

Fair play to Bournemouth they are really showing fighting spirit.

I want them to go down just to shut up John Williams on Radio Solent. I mean I get he is ex Bournemouth etc, but jesus the guy sees everything through black and red tinted specs.

7 points behind Gary O'Neill and Bournemouth is depressing as hell

Bournemouth to relegate us by winning at St Mary’s I reckon. Repaying us for doing it to them.

Looking on the bright side - Everton, Forest and Leicester all losing is good at least.

I mean, not that it matters in the long run cos we ain't gonna beat Man City and we still ain't gonna stay up, but still.

If Leeds win tomorrow then the bottom 4 are cut adrift.

if you’re on 30 points or more with 8 left then you’d have to really mess up to go down

This. I look at teams like Bournemouth and think “yeah they’ll go” then see that they have thirty points, you’d probably expect teams on those sort of points around this point of the season to pick up maybe another 7-10 points. They’re probably ok.
They have fight in them.

Honestly even if we beat them they've probably got enough where we struggle to catch them.

They do, and Jack Stephens has been an important player for them recently,  think he's made his point, we've spent money but they're no better really

One thing our centre backs lack is fight and sprit. Technically ABK and Salisu may be better players than Stephens, but he has no lack of desire and passion. Maybe we would have been better off keeping him. His performances could help keep up a relegation rival at our expense.

dodgy VAR goings on at Spurs!

Absolutely nailed on penalty for Brighton ignored and Spurs break and score the winner….

How on earth has var not pulled that back for a Brighton pen? As you say, highly dubious goings on 😮

They’ve admitted Brighton should have had a penalty. This is the third time the PGMOL has apologised to Brighton this season for mistakes!

Just seen the highlights on MOTD. What a disgraceful “performance” from VAR. how can they get that wrong? Plus the shirt pull at the end. Also the first handball, looks like his shoulder to me, thought the rule was the shirt sleeve? And the other one did all He could to get out of the way. Really harsh on Brighton

Palace concede to a header from an actual centre forward. Any lessons to be learned for next week?

Yes and actually playing football that creates goals

Leeds are actually looking very impressive.

The pressing, the aggression, just players with actual ability and graft in them.

Celebration of the goal with Javi Gracia and his coaching team.

Just shows you what an experienced manager can bring to a team in a relegation battle. Still, SR knew best.

Saints would be advised to try and stop those Palace crosses coming in next week. Let's hope Roy's boys start to think they're on the beach.

Funny old game. Now 1-5. Let's hope Saints get the Palace of the first 44 minutes rather than the 2nd half version.

They look everything we aren't going forward this second half. Pace, movement and directness. That's even without Zaha.

Teams like Palace, West Ham, Wolves etc I expected to get out of it with the attacking options they have. Night and day compared to our options.

Starting to look like 2 from Leicester, Forest, Leeds, Everton and Bournemouth (to go with us)

Makes no difference if Palace are on the beach because Saints are on the mortuary slab.

We'll still lose, our goalie couldn't stop a beach ball...

VVD coming to the end of his time at Liverpool, caught under the ball for Arsenal's second?

Partly age as well, but I don’t think he’s ever got back to the level he was at before the ACL injury.
