Also who the manager is would have a large effect on how attractive a club is to play for. In our case most definitely. Danso is still only 24 which is still young for a CB. Since he left us he's had a full season in Bundesliga and now playing regularly for a team performing well. Weird really, as he was totally written off by our expert fans despite only being 20 when we had him and largely playing out of position. 1

He can only work with what he’s got, and what he got was a gung-ho chairman who wanted to bring in every player under the sun. It was always going to take time to blend a team of varying egos together but what he’s got them doing is fighting, that was pretty evident against Chelsea last night. Big fan of Steve Cooper
