Delmary Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Have been a Ralph loyalist but he needs to go now. Enough is enough. 2
saintscottofthenortham Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 We are a totally predictable mess. Don’t get me wrong, I expected nothing, but to get it so wrong is unforgivable.

Without Baz, Lav and Aribo we’d mostly likely be playing a different formation with Forster, Moi and Redmond. Djenepo is only playing because we have injuries to two first choice fullbacks, Valery is clearly preferred to ABK and Lyanco today but that’s not to say this will be permanent. We just have better options. All that said, we’ve still got three weeks to go and are apparently still in the hunt for a decent striker. Madness to suggest that today's team is an upgrade on last season's. We were shit then, and are worse now. 2
saintant Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Ralph needs to go. He has no clue I'm afraid. Another embarrassing shit show. Spurs could run riot here. 1
obelisk Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Spurs should be down to 9 men. They'd still win mind. 1

Sheaf Saint Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Fucking hell. Did he seriously not get a card for that!? 1
Saint_clark Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Academic now but Royal looked way offside for their own goal?
Saint Fan CaM Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Why is that not a red for a reckless challenge on Romeu - not even a fooking yellow?!?! 2 1

aintforever Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 All that money spent and the first XI is no better at all, fucking madness.

northam soul Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 So we change shape to stop conceding, well that worked a treat. Might help if we played players in their best positions and played the best players for those positions. Ralph has to go. 2

He was, but he’s not a defender and he was committed to attack, that is the risk using full backs as wingers.

Ekelund Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Watch Bednarek for the 4th goal. Made himself as small as possible. Nails
CylonKing Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 It was good for 20 minutes. Have had to stop listening. Same old, same old. So disappointing! ☹️
obelisk Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Saints all over the place. If Spurs don't get 6 they'll be having an inquest. 1
SNSUN Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 I was excited for the season this morning. Now I can see it is going to be a long season. Sack off this 3 at the back nonsense (we don't have the CBs!) and go back to 4-2-2-2. At least we'd offer more in attack than trying to go defensive against one of the best attacks in the Premier League.
Disco Stu Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Has Ralph actually made any tactical changes? Looks like we're still playing the same shape despite being so toothless.

I've been wondering why we've not been able to get him into more attacking places, where it's okay to try and take people on. He's doing it from deep positions, and SPurs toy with him, drawing him out of position adn punishing him.
Chris cooper Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Nice to see the new shape working well .. up the ralphy baby 👌🏻
aintforever Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Why the fuck did we buy that Ketchup bloke if he’s not as good as Stephens? 5
Saint_Jonny Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 The absolute bedwetting scenes on here. I won't lose sleep after losing one game to a top four team with one of the best attacks in Europe. Yes we could have stopped the balls into the box they scored from, and the OG was laughable, but calm the fuck down. 4 3

Saint Fan CaM Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Unfortunately this was on the cards - new players maybe, but same tactical shite from Ralph. I honestly think a better Manager gets more from this squad, but we desperately need a much better striker or two…not bargain basement. Good to see Ralph has done the obvious and brought on a defender when 4-1 down. FFS. 3
StrangelyBrown Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Nice to see the usual spazweb meltdown 1 1

UpweySaint Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 F*ck me! Fallen apart. Spurs have so much more quality than us but quite how Romero didn't get a booking is beyond me. I'm a Ralph fan but he's got this very wrong. I didn't expect to win but we need to find a way to be more competitive. How we are playing with no striker is beyond me - clearly isn't working. 1

saintant Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 (edited) Many of us said that 3 at the back would suck the life out of our creativity whilst still conceding goals for fun. Today has proved the point. Edited 6 August, 2022 by saintant 2
Dorchester Saint Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 I can’t defend Ralph anymore, this is pathetic!! I just don’t know who could replace him though. 1
Baird of the land Posted 6 August, 2022 Posted 6 August, 2022 Don't worry Adams is going to get a load of goals from the bench.

This could be a cricket score and it's not because we are 'going for it' in any way. If we went for it at 2-1 down and Spurs smashed a few in fine but I can't even discern what the plan was/is today. 2
