You've only got to look at their social media to see how much it meant to them, and from that you'll understand why they had their first team manager in the dugout and nine of the first team squad playing , it was too good an opportunity for them to miss to beat the facking scummers

When they beat us 4-1 down there in 2005(?), I was in school (not at the time of the game just generally of school age) and we had a teacher who was a huge bellend of a Skate and when we went in on Monday whenever anyone put their hand up to ask a question, he constantly answered it with "I FOUR ONE think it's..." or "I FOUR ONE would like to say..."

Went on for about 3 weeks.

Our average age was 19 and average of 26 appearances. Take Lancashire and it becomes an average age of 18, with 2 total appearances for first teams.

I heard the numbers at Southsea Common are going up everyday. Wednesday there was believed to be 200,000 but by Friday Portsmyth supports believe there was around 1 million there to cheer the team

Yeah, that was comical, it started out that around 100,000 had turned out for the parade of the cup they cheated their way to, it had doubled by the end of the weekend and then kept going up and up. Deluded fuckwits.
