Although no direct attributable quotes to back that up whatsoever as far as I can remember.  It's the experience that would be buying alongside a top performing player and that's something we're perhaps slightly lacking at the moment.

I think he'd be a solid signing, especially for the price, but don't seem to be too many links about and most recent ones are talking about a move to Utd or him running down his contract to move on a free.

Not followed too much of this but demble downed tools at Celtic or and Fulham if I remember and is now looking to see out his contract at Lyon.

He seems the wrong fit and influence for our team
