Sons & Daughters was an Australian sitcom thing

I seem to remember my mum mentioning it one time when I was a child. Photographic memory.

It wasnt a sitcom, it was a soap with the Hamiltons and the Palmers

Mum used to watch it along with A Bouquet of Barb Wire and Within These Walls

Think the words went like this...

Sons and daughters

tears and sadness

love and laughter and happiness.

Was the start of the golden era in Australian soaps

I used to go home at lunchtime some days. From Cantell to around the middle of Laburnum Road, make pancake mixture, cook pancakes, eat them, watch a bit of crap tv and then walk back to Cantell, all within the hour. Not sure how! 🤷🏽
