Mixedkebab Posted January 19 Posted January 19 4-6 weeks out with his injury, more shit news. Hopefully a decent loan forward will be coming in but I doubt it 1
die Mannyschaft Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Have Saints set a £55m price tag to prevent any Jan bids? You could get a whole new team from Championship if scouted properly for that money. He's got outstanding talent and we can't win enough games with him so you can't blame him if he gets an offer from Liverpool, RB Leipzig, or even Forrest. No point going to Spurs.

Convict Colony Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I am gonna guess he will go to Atalanta. Let me revist this in the summer but Juric will probably recommend him to his pal Gasperini, they will play him and they have history to develop players, play the same formation have lots of eng speakers there (lookman etc).

I doubt they be able to beat rival interested clubs on the fee and wages.
skintsaint Posted January 23 Posted January 23 How long left on his contract? Could we loan him out next season on the premise of us getting promoted again.....
Harry_SFC Posted January 23 Posted January 23 2 hours ago, skintsaint said: How long left on his contract? Could we loan him out next season on the premise of us getting promoted again..... Officially expires summer 2026 but the club have the option to extend it by a further year so essentially summer 2027.
pimpin4rizeal Posted February 8 Posted February 8 (edited) Being honest now I think he’s way overhyped compared to what he’s actually done for us this season .: he’s a good dribbler but so was others like boufal even sully and got nowhere near this hype. Bar a couple of tap ins he hasn’t really done much of note . Good dribbler but not a lot else atm if he wasn’t a young English academy kid I could see people moaning about no end product not trying to be harsh on him but I don’t feel much affinity to him anyway as he’s not gonna be here long so he gets treated like anyone else Edited February 8 by pimpin4rizeal 2
Guest Posted February 8 Posted February 8 He is way overhyped. I said the same about Matty Fernandes the other week. They’re just way better than everyone else we’ve got, it’s a low fucking bar to clear. It’s no different to Juric, he’s been massively overhyped, he hasn’t done anything of note in his time here. Most would’ve been hounded out already.

washsaint Posted February 8 Posted February 8 He's only 18 and playing in a shit side. Add in his head turned by agents/other clubs it's no wonder his form has fallen off a cliff. We shouldn't be relying on an 18 year old (and Fernandes for that matter) but we have the shittiest squad and manager I can ever remember
sledger Posted February 8 Posted February 8 didnt pick a leg up today, passionless no effort display if we can get 55 million for him i will drive him wherever for free 1

He'll have a good career at this level, as will Dibling. As for Juric, no-one has hyped him at all, you're making that up. He's had 7 league games in charge ffs. Not sure what you were expecting him to do with a mostly Championship squad, but by all means go ahead and 'hound out' yet another manager. 14
beatlesaint Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Sorry? This season has been utter shit, very few players have done anything useful all bloody season let alone anything of note so now some of you want to turn on an 18 year old kid who has actually had some very decent moments and games. All lads his age have good games then bad games ffs. To take a pop at him whilst others like Aribo the darling of the Northam with that infernal Spandau Ballet song get away with having as much mobility as a cargo ship stuck in mud is pathetic. 4

benjii Posted February 9 Posted February 9 He's not an inside forward/false 9. He's a kid who plays on the wing. Pick him on the wing. 2

Well the difference is dibling is talked about Like the next big thing, too good for us, top 6 player, next grealish nobody is making aribo out to be world class . It’s not about turning on dibling just pointing out he hasn’t really made much impact despite starting nearly every game. players like rod Wallace mlt Walcott came straight in and made things happen with dibling hes not really affecting matches 1
BARCELONASAINT Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I am fully expecting TD to be with us next season unless something dramatically changes. From what i have heard from someone who knows the lad and his family he has had two offers on the table, both from German clubs and he is very open to playing in Germany where he feels his style of play is more suited. However he wants to stay for another season at least at Saints. Great news in my opinion if true. 5

If we miss promotion then not getting that £40+ million will be a kick in the financial nuts.

I have to say I don't think much of your ability to judge players. I've seen players develop at Saints going back 50+ years and you can often see early on that they have something and will make it. Dibling certainly has that something already and he's only 18, in his first season, in the top flight, in a crap team and he's already making things happen. 8

suewhistle Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Just arrived here from reading that. An interesting read..
ally_uk Posted February 25 Posted February 25 Tyler Dibling and Mateus Fernandes have been the only bright spots in an otherwise miserable season for us Saints fans. We need to do everything possible to keep them and rebuild the squad around them. They’re the future of Saints—showing heart, passion, and a real desire to play football. It’s time to look to our academy and bring through the next wave of hungry, committed players for the Championship next season. They can’t be any worse than the shite we keep fielding. Sack off those who don’t care. 1 1

Sack off those who don’t care. This is Saints. We can’t wait to sell players. They’ll be the first out of the door. We are a player-trading organisation, not a football club. Been the same since Kat Liebherr took over. 6
