Well it’s true. I see you’ve just picked up on that comment not all the others during and after the game. Typical

Yes I saw your other comments later but why be crass in the first place

Behave Spain were much better. How many chances did England have? The one against the bar, that’s about it, hardly anything in the second half

Hemp had a couple of half chances first half. Other than that, we created nothing. We were worse 2nd half after the tactical changes. Spain were significantly better.

I felt uncomfortable as well. Was weird.

Infantino looked fucking elated as well.

Don't get the issue. Seemed just completely celebratory to me, not at all weird. Players didn't seem uncomfortable and seemed very happy going in for the hugs. Cheek kissing may not be british but it is a very european thing.

To be fair, one of Duckhunter, Batman or Turkish were always going to make that comment.

Man up? Is it still 1990? You know that term is not politically correct yet you’re jumping all over me for posting a fact a put my social media and getting all angry about it. As for stopping reading things that you don’t like which is more likely, everyone will agree and align 100% with your view on life or most people will sometimes not agree with you but thats fine and it doesn’t matter

It was women against girls, perhaps our birds believed the hype. The mangeress was certainly out coached by the Spanish bloke. Some of the English lot looked they were running through treacle and were carrying a bit too much timber. The mangeress is ultimately responsible for fitness levels & if I was in the FA I’d be questioning  that aspect of the preparation.

At the end of the day England we’re lucky it was only 1

Shame about the performance today, but Spain fully deserved it.  We had a very kind run to the final & Spain were the only team of real note we had to play all tournament.  If we had a fully fit team perhaps it would have been different, but a few teams could say that.

If only the men's team had a defence of the equivalent quality of the women!  We are so solid at the back and again only conceded a few goals all tournament.  You can see why Earp's is considered the best GK in the world

Immensely proud they got to the final. On the day, they were beaten by the better side.

Both teams had their chances. But despite England having more possession in their opponent's penalty area well into the first half, the better of them were from Spain. England, without the creativity of Mead were more direct, looking for the physicality of Russo. When that went, they looked a bit flat, resulting in an England and Bright combo, with James supporting.

Spain Sussex out how to get into the vacant full back position, created by England's 3 at the back. England were always vulnerable to attacks from wide, in a competition with a lot of team who can ping long balls from deep.

Bronze has been caught a few times in this tournament. Usually giving away passes on the flank. But the balance is the work rate, positioning and control she gives at other times.

While England did struggle to chase the game, and Earps (taking Bronze's advice for the pen) kept them in it, they can look back at the moment Hemp's shot hit the bar. Spain's posession after going a goal up, played to their strengths. One of Spain's players could well have been shown a red for being silly and kicking the ball away. Harsh for a world cup final, but the player was key in keeping England at bay. But to grasp at such moments shows how hard England found this one.

But in the end a game too far, with a team that did so well despite missing personnel (as had Spain). Hopefully, we'll continue to see the side refreshed over the next couple of years with up and coming talent, to give the side a few more options. The whole team did everyone proud.

They looked very Saintsy playing a back 3 , caught on the break with plenty of room on the flanks . Also had plenty of players back at times but no one near the attacker , got plenty of last minute blocks in as a result.

A few players lacked the speed/mobility of Spains players . On another day if they scored ………….

Just seen some highlights, surely Earps was well off her line when the penalty was hit?

Edit: Maybe not!

https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-14---the-penalty-kick

“When the ball is kicked, the defending goalkeeper must have at least part of one foot touching, in line with, or behind, the goal line.”

I thought it’d have to be retaken initially as I thought the foot had to be on the line, but it doesn’t and she timed it perfectly.

For a bird that supposed to be a coaching genius, and potential to transfer her “skills” to the mens game, she looked out of her depth to me. Awful coaching performance when it mattered, the Spanish bloke schooled her.

It must have been torture waiting two years for her first loss in a competitive game so you could finally criticise her.

Only in this crazy woke world you dream of, did any one say she was a coaching genius and is going to move in to the men's game. People posed the question, it's what us normals do on the internet.

Anyway I'm happy for you that a man coach won and given you've your pub bore theme for the week.

Bit shit though. No one wants to potentially win the World Cup wearing blue.

Fucking BBC still banging on about not being able to buy the keepers shirt. FFS always want to ran some angle on a story. Most are  very supportive but such a need for drama and controversy at every turn. I am sure Nike made no sort of commercial decision whatsoever and was solely based on their loathing of female sport and the need to continue support of the patriarchy

Now women's and men's football are expected to be treated equally, should we be saying that we have won 9 FA Cups not just 1? And runners up 5 times not 3?

Separate teams. The Southampton team that won those isn’t affiliated with Saints.

They are quite right to keep "banging on" about it.  Having the rights to produce England shirts is a prestigious contract, and no way should Nike be picking and choosing which shirts they reproduce for fans to buy.  We have the no 1 rated keeper in the world and kids who idolise her cannot have a copy of her shirt.

Your post reads more that you hate the BBC tbh.  Nothing wrong with that, but this is an issue that should be highlighted

It has been reported previously and no need to keep bringing it up. The news is to inform not to campaign against Nike.

Honestly, how many will want the shirt? To see kids walking round in goalkeepers shirts is extremely rare, it’s also rare to see kids walking round in the women’s England shirt so you don’t have to be a genius to work out they’d be lucky to sell a handful of women’s England keepers shirts. I doubt Nike did it to be dicks they probably did a bit of market research into it, maybe rather than berating Nike, who are renowned for their brilliant marketing campaigns about diversity and being different, for not making a product that won’t sell the question should be asked what can be done to encourage more girls to become goalkeepers

I think that the issue is that having done their research most of the prospective purchasers would be 20-30 year old men living with their parents and it doesn’t make economic sense to only manufacture the shirts in xl to xxxxl.

Why is a farmer with an MBE presenting Sky News? Don't they have any actual TV presenters?

He seems like a bit of an idiot.

He's not a presenter.  They do a paper review thing where they bring in 2 people to comment on stories, usually former politicians, journos, tv presenters, etc.
