Cypress Hill?

You're getting the mid 90's breakthrough American hip hop bands mixed up.

Jump Around was House of Pain. Cypress Hill would have been too stoned after taking hits from their bong to even contemplate any vague form of physical exercise.

Graeme Souness getting hammered for saying ‘it’s a man’s game’ referring to the Chelsea Spurs intensity.
it’s beyond belief really.
Bethany England, whoever she is, really ripping into him.
this and so much more is ruing our game.

An England also ran. Probably feeling the need to get attention given she didn't play in the final.

After seeing this thread I checked Twitter. She made one tweet and is still getting scores of replies every 5 minutes. Bet she wishes she never said anything. Sums up our pathetic times

As long as the replies aren't abusive or sexist then don't see what the problem is.  Was pretty obvious the context that Souness was using but she's got a right to question the language if she wants, just as people also have a right to disagree.  If she's going to post something on Twitter then what do people expect?

If someone tweeting something gets you upset don’t go on twitter. Problem solved.

Yeah, I ain't condoning anything abusive or sexist but that's a matter for your social media types.  Why the fuck anyone wants to go on twitter baffles me anyway - I couldn't care less about other people let alone their opinions.

Well done.  Note this isn't twitter and I come on here  to find out news about saints mostly.  There's also the enjoyment gained by taking the piss.  None of that really means I care what you think.

Not that there was much doubt we’d be there, a 2-0 win over Austria has just sealed our place in the World Cup finals :)

This team will be even more legendary if they can go on to win them back to back…

With 1 game to go in the group, England have scored 70 and conceded 0 !!!!

Yep all that’s standing in their way is a team that lost to a boys U15 team.

Hardly anyone watches it, yet we are told the players are national heroes

hmmmm

Same for loads of sports. Who watches athletics outside of Olympics or World Championships?

Or stuff like rowing? No one gives a shit but there's plenty of sportspeople who are propelled into the national hero category by the media for being good at a sport that people largely ignore.

No different to San Marino and Andorra at international level !!

3 5-0s as well. When was there last a night of mens international football when there were at least 11 games with a team winning by 5 goals or more?

I actually watched the game last night and the first thing that struck me was why did we play a full strength team, why were none of the fringe players given a run out.  Or doesn't work like that in women's football?  It was obviously a non-match, so surely we should've seen the England B team....???

Cricket scores weren't that uncommon in the men's game back in the day when established teams played the minnows. I remember England beating Turkey 8-0 in a qualifier in the early/mid eighties and I'm sure there were plenty of others. Women's football is still (relatively) in its infancy and there will be results like this for a while until the lesser teams make some ground on the big guns, as has happened in the men's game.

Given how much we’re into womens football these days I’m surprised no one is talking about the massive game between England and the USA tonight. The wonderful Megan Raphinoe making her 195th appearance for the US tonight. I’m really looking forward to seeing how our legends get on against these top players

That's a hell of a win ahead of the World Cup!

Wiegman's unbeaten record as England manager continues with a win against the current World Champions.

Both teams missing a couple of their best players, not to mention a couple of VAR calls just going our way, but we'll go on with the belief we can beat absolutely anyone.

Could have gone either way but these must be the best two teams in the world at the moment.

Our calmness at playing out through the press was particularly impressive, and our pace on the break constantly caused them problems.

Eh? How often do women’s friendly matches get 75k+ attendances!?

On here I mean. During the summer some people wouldn’t shut about it. Unless they were all at Wembley interest seems to have completely died

I was one of the ones that "wouldnt shut up about it" and last night I was at the pub watching it.
