Would bring back memories of the Lallana chant. Did we ever get the Adam/Stuart Armstrong song going like the City Kolo/Yaya Toure song? I remember some tried to get it going for Steve and Kevlin Davis a few seasons ago. That with hand movements, plus the brilliant new Banzunu song and there is definitely an opportunity to make more of VAR. How about "V-A-R No goal" , to the tune of the 70s classic D I S C O, we could spell out VAR with our giant foam hands then point to a goal kick when we get to the no goal bit. That would be crazy.

The Curse of St Mary's Posted 17 June, 2022 Share Posted 17 June, 2022 Was speaking to a goalkeeper coach who has played at reasonable level himself and knows a few people in the game, he reckons Bazuna is already a brilliant keeper. trousers Posted 17 June, 2022 Share Posted 17 June, 2022 (edited) Unlike certain fraternities of the fan-base, I tend not to cast judgement on players, either before they've signed, or until they've played for us for a significant number of games, but I'm going to stick my neck out here... I have a feeling this Bazuna fella could turn out to be the signing of the season. There we are... neck on the line and all that.... #shootmedown Edited 17 June, 2022 by trousers

To be fair, nobody has played at this level before until they've played at this level. No matter how young or old you can never be sure how good they'll be until they are thrown in at the deep end. From what I've heard from my Pompey insider I have every faith in him to ge, at worst, a step up from McCarthy and Forster.
