Norwich to be sold to Americans …

Perhaps they'll get Alex Crook to make sure the new owners are rich, and deserving, enough to be in the Premier League. 😆

Their teams have capitulated even more than we've managed to do in spells in their last two top flight seasons.

I'm sure they expected more from their players, and I guess have concluded that to get up and stabilise takes more resources than they have.

Another warning to our lot that other clubs are looking to push forward.

True. There's no guarantee of success. I don't know the level of investment either. I read an article a while back about US investment at all levels of the pyramid. There would seem to be a wide set of backgrounds interested in having their own club. As I type, I note Wrexham have just lost in a play off final.

I don't know where miltonaggro heard about the Depp consortium. 🙂

As I posted when we were looking for our own takeover, there's a pattern of unsuccessful American owners over here, Burnley the most recent established Premier League side to drop out after an American takeover, joining Swansea, Aston Villa and Sunderland in previous years. Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal fans go against theirs depending on the match result of that particular weekend also.

It'll be interesting to see how this now goes for Norwich, as they weren't ever going to be competitive up here with Delia Smith.

The better example would simply be Manure - a club saddled with debt and heading for a decade in the background 🤣

Yup, I can see Delia being more of a goalscoring threat than what we ha...oh "he could" not "she could"... yeah, Pukki would be decent too. 🙂

He'd already be used to sod all service in a tactic designed to stifle instinctive goalscoring. 🙂
